Upset & confused, Jenny ran away. Later, too embarrassed to talk to us, but wanting to come home, she wrote:
"Dear Mom and Dad, please forgive me for being such a burden and please don't hate me. I love you....."
She wasn't doing drugs, drinking or anything like that and she definitely wasn't a burden. We love our children and when they hurt, we hurt. She heard us talking and misunderstood what was said. She packed up one day while we were gone and disappeared. I wrote this song for her, so that she, and other teens, our other children/grandchildren, would know, just because you make mistakes, It doesn't make your parents hate you, but please, don't be afraid to talk about things and don't be too embarrassed to come back home. They love you, no matter what....
AN UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.....
For you that are hurting, "It's Just Like God". If we are true, born again believers in Jesus, we have His love in our hearts. God adopted us into His family. He is our Father, we are His children and we are His forever. If we slip and fall into sin, He doesn't hate us. He may have to correct us, but it's because He loves us, and he's bringing us back to Him. He will never stop loving us.

I know I'm not a great singer, I don't profess to be and not trying to be. We just pray that the words God puts on my heart, will, in some way, spread the Love That He has to give.
