This was a college level professional school of all the creative and performing arts. This had been founded in 1961 with the amalgamation of two schools, the Los Angeles Conservatory of music and Music Chovinard Art Institute. In addition to these two schools of art and music, the institutes' new campus has schools of theater, design, and cinematography, as well as sculpture, ceramics, and fashion design.
