My Paper
My crumpled piece of paper
has many rips and tears
It is very old and wrinkled
this worn out piece of paper
It has many holes and messy places
I try writing on this piece of paper
but try as I may
I cannot read what I write
for the crumples are in the way
I would trash this piece of paper
this sorry excuse for paper
but I have to write my poem on it
