My adopted MIA is Larry Gene Kier from Omaha Nebraska,2ed Battalion,501 Infantry,101st Airborn Divison, on May 6,1970 Vietnam forces overran a guardstation at an ammunition dump near Henderson hill in Quang Tri Providence, South Vietnam, killing 33 Americans no trace of his body was ever found he was last seen running to a barricade. This occured two days after the National Guardsmen were called in to control the rioting at Kent State. When 591 Americans were released from Vietnam in 1973 Larry Gene Kier was not among them.
