In 1998 she won the Supermono European Championship on a Suzuki BMR 741. A Supermono is a four stroke single cilinder bike, no cc limitations.
In the 2001 season, she will be racing in the GP 250 world championship.
Portrait of James Whitham James Whitham, an English guy who has raced in many teams, in both two stroke and four stroke championships, just like John. James has a distinct riding style, his knee sliders hardly touch the ground and he hangs completely beside his bike.
He also has character: he recovered from cancer in 1995/1996 and made a succesful comeback in bike racing.
James is riding in the world championship Supersports (near-stock four stroke racers, 600cc - 750cc) on a Yamaha.
