Apparently John's 1998 character, so to say, is used or
going to be used in a computer game.
So here's a small picture of a virtual John.
|
Jos Bakker sent me these screen shots from a PC game about
the World Superbike championship, featuring John on the
Honda RC45, in his 1997 SBK year.
|
Another screen shot from a PC game.
This time it's a 1999 version.
Thank you, Markus from Germany.

Someone made a so-called skin for a PC game, featuring John on the YZR M1.

One really Little John and three miniature bikes from 1996, 1998, and 1999.

The official(?) John Kocinski logo, designed by Troy Lee.
Ain't it cool?
|
John's 1997 and 1998 outfit, by Spidi.
|
Here we see an employee of Spidi working on John's 1999 outfit.
|
Someone was fan/crazy enough to have the eagle on John's
Bell helmet tattood on one of his own legs!
(not the author of the fan page, by the way).

A young John putting on his StylMartin boots.
Picture from 1989/1990?

The Yamaha 4 stroke GP bike (YZR M1)
being tested in early 2001 by Norihiko Fujiwara.
This is the bike that John will also test.
The bike will be used in 2002,
when new regulations make it attractive to race 4 stroke bikes again
in the Grand Prix class.

T-shirt from 1998.

The author of the fan page at Assen.
The Suzuki features two JK logo stickers, but they're invisible
on this photo.
|
The 1999 Arai helmet.
John rode with this helmet in 1998,
when he was the reigning SBK champion.
Yet it came to the stores after the 1998 season.
Brilliant marketing by Arai.
John's own words about it: "This helmet is perfect. Perfect."
|
Even in 2001 you can buy helmets with the 1990 design.
Original design by Shoei, now sold by MT, for a mere EUR 57.
I hope the helmets aren't as old as the design.

Nice painting of John, Kevin Schwantz, and another rider. My guess is: 1991.
|
John and Kenny Roberts. 1989/1990?
|
Yuichi Takeda, on the bike he shared with John in the
1999 Suzuka 8 hours race.
Takeda was the replacement for Freddie Spencer,
who got injured on the first training day.

This is what you get on your helmet when you're lucky!
|
And another lucky guy: Isagi Mizuta from Japan.
As you can see, John is giving away his shirt!
