BowfingerNick- Over all a pretty descent movie. When I first saw the previews, I thought it would be another movie where all the funny parts are already advertised and the rest is a script you could write in a day and humor that is only funny to three year olds. The movie though, had not only many other funny parts, but it even had a pretty good plot. Bowfinger is a comedy in which Bobby Bowfinger(Steve Martin), the head of a small time movie agency looking for it's big break, comes upon a script written by his accountant that he feels could be made into a major motion picture. He realizes that the only way to make the movie work is to get Kit (Karson?) to be in the picture. Unfortunatly, Kit, played by Eddie Murphy, doesn't even consider the script. When he is about to tell his company that they have yet again failed at making a movie, he panics and tells them that he'll be in the movie. Now, not only does Bobby Bowfinger have to make a movie with Kit in it without him even knowing, but he has to make sure that all but one of his crew members don't know that he doesn't know he's in the movie. I thought that even though it had some pretty slow scenes, it had it's clever one's too, which made up for it. In my opinion it was probably the biggest surprise of the summer.2 1/2 stars
