Norbert Englich

As the pioneer of Hap-Ki-Do in the Wiesbaden area, Master Norbert Englich began his
Hap-Ki-Do training 1975 under Grand Master Yoo-Kyung-Soon.
From 1972 to 1982, he served in the German disaster control unit.
He gives close quarter fighting seminars for the German reservist organization, in which
he is an active member, and practices military rifle shooting for over 26 years.
In 1978, he began teaching Hap-Ki-Do in Wiesbaden and founded the first Hap-Ki-Do
School ~ Doyang in that district.
After the death of his teacher in 1993, while looking for a new Hap-Ki-Do instructor for his
further martial arts education. He fortunately met and joined his new Grandmaster Chong-Sa-Nim Klaus Schuhmacher.
In 1998, he was appointed as the official representative of the “World Independent Hap-Ki-Do Federation” for Germany, and 6 years later for all Europe.
