"The Ring Master" Perhaps my very favorite painting, if an artist is allowed to have favorites. The scene is of my Liam and I playing poker in the Valley of the Kings at night with some of our favorite ancient personalities. From center, going clockwise, the people are: The Ring Master himself, Liam; Ankhesenamun; me; Ramesses II and Nefertari; a dozing Amenhotep III; Queen Tiye; Thutmose III and one horrid poker hand; Akhenaten with Neferneferure asleep in his lap; and Hatchepsut.
