Ah! A new food trial! BLACK PUDDING

First: In the UK a “pudding” is NOT the same thing as it is in the US … NOT like JELLO pudding!
A pudding is usually a cake-like thing, served warm, and most often served for desert.
But, since it is most often a desert, UK-types seem to call almost any kind of desert a “pudding.”

BLACK PUDDING is part of
the MOST-traditional version of
a “Traditional English Breakfast.”
Black Pudding is BLACK because
of all the BLOOD cooked into it.
It also contains sheep or lamb organs,
bits of bread and spices.
So, to start my day in Liverpool, I had
the MOST-traditional English breakfast,
and ate Black Pudding.
It tastes a lot like the “stuffing”
cooked in a turkey!
I liked it!!! And, recommend it to folkz who can get past the name! LOL

After breakfast, we checked out of
the Sir Thomas hotel and walked
a few blocks to the Adelphi hotel,
where the presentation was booked.

I wish I’d managed to check out
their “American Bar!”

The presentation room was gorgeous!

Barry (on the left) lives in Liverpool.
I finally got to meet him, after corresponding with him for YEARS!

Kevin (on the right) is a CPI instructor & rep that I’d met in Toronto, in 2001

Kevin was accompanied by Mandy (in the middle!)

The great room (the “LOUNGE”) outside the presentation room was
INCREDIBLE!!!

This is rather a silly paste-job … but gives you an idea of the SIZE!

Across the “lounge” from the presentation room was a ballroom wherein
the “Dark Horse Charity Foundation” was holding their “Christmas Lunch” …
a benefit “for older persons” … “pensioners.” Ballroom DANCING offered!
“This is the first year we’ve had a band.” Just my luck, eh?!
The last hour of my presentation, I was occasionally battling the orchestra! LOL
