STILL Day Six! |
Over the Internet, I had met a gentleman who is with the Braemar Mountain Rescue Team, AND is the Treasurer for the Braemar Royal Highland Society: Lindsay Smith.
That’s Lindsay, in the pic ABOVE!
He was terrifically helpful during the months before our trip. And fantastically welcoming when we arrived. He took time out from his “Official” duties to visit with us in our seats – TWICE. And, best of all, he was the one who invited us to the Royal Highland Society Hospitality Tent after the games.

A FREE BAR is always a GUDE thing.
But, what made this adventure

The SECOND ROUND o’ DRINKS
was NOT as easily procured as the first!
The Tent was so packed with Pipers and others,
I couldn’t reach the bar to order!
I ended up catching the attention of someone NEAR the bar … indicated my order … and he had my wine PASSED OVER THE CROWD to me!!!

invited US to come with them.
