“Spooky Halloween Trick-or-Treat Porch”
PIX from 2003!
I don’t have pix of the POSTERS I put up on poles and posts
all around the nearby Elementary School … with INVITATIONS
to the “Spooky Halloween Trick-or-Treat Porch” tucked in them
for KIDZ to take to their PARENTS.
In 2004, I’ll get pix o’ that stuff!
I also don’t have pix o’ the YARD SIGNS that DIRECT folkz up and
INTO the “Spooky Halloween Trick-or-Treat Porch” …
Again, that’s something ELSE I’ll take pix of in 2004.
BUT, HERE’S WHAT I’VE GOT FROM the 2003
“Spooky Halloween Trick-or-Treat Porch” …
THE BIG TREE SIGN
This goes up around October 9th … but with an
“OPEN HALLOWEEN” sign instead of the “OPEN TONIGHT” sign!
For 2004, I changed the HOURS of OPERATION:
From 5 to 9 … to 6 to 9!!!
Here’s a view of ROUTE to the “Spooky Halloween Trick-or-Treat Porch”
from the FRONT YARD.
Once they’ve come up the driveway, the KIDZ have to start
“BRAVING THE SHEETS” to get to where
they’ll eventually find some TREATS!!!
Once they finally make it through all the scary SHEETS …
with BEADED (clattering) hangy-down-things … the Kidz get to the PORCH.
There, they are greeted by spooky lights … and candles in pumpkins … and
SPIDERS hanging from EVERYWHERE! (hard to see in the pix) … and
WHO KNOWS WHAT kind of CREATURE on the PORCH!!!
(It changes every year … as does the PLACE from where I
SPRING OUT AT THEM!!! LOL!)
