Cedar Rapids, Iowa - Riley Riddell and Dan Hacker scored a pair of goals each Saturday night to lead the Omaha Lancers to an 8-1 win over Cedar Rapids in a USHL game marred by 49 penalties.
Omaha led 1-0 at 18:23 of the first period when Keith Ballard scored an unassisted goal. The RoughRiders tied the game in the second period before the Lancers broke loose for a six-goal third period.
Jason Krischuk scored just 47 seconds into the final period with assists from Riddell and Dan Welch. Riddell then struck for consecutive goals at 3:31 and 8:07.
Another Omaha goal pushed the score to 6-1 before Hacker connected on consecutive goals at 19:14 and 19:39.
