Day Five (STILL!!!) … Castle Forbes Continued

This page consists, primarily, of INTERIOR pix taken at Castle Forbes.
Since it is NOT a “public” Castle (NOT cared for by The National Trust for Scotland),
there is NO prohibition against taking pix inside it.

Unfortunately, there also is no BOOKLET containing professional pix of the interior rooms!
So, I’ve got nothing to SCAN and put here … and, must rely upon my own
(often incredibly inadequate) camera and pic-taking efforts!

THREE PIX o’ the “FRONT ROOM” of Castle Forbes Jinny was busy cooking, and – OKAY! – I wimped out! I didn’t ask for the “official” titles of the different rooms that I wandered through, and took pix of!

So, this may or may NOT be called, the “Front Room”!!!
But, that’s what I’M calling it!

The Door to the “SITTING ROOM” (Maybe?!) What’s really kool: Since the Sitting Room is on the ground floor of the ROUND TOWER the doors leading in and out of it are CURVED!

The “MAIN STAIRCASE” of Castle Forbes I actually ASKED about the “name” of this staircase! (There’s at least ONE other one.) Jinny hesitated, and then seemed to “come up with” a name – on the spot! Ah! The Forbes Puppies! ABOVE is Flicker (Pepsi’s on his pad, in the back) AT RIGHT: Just PEPSI! Malcolm told me that, prior to Flicker, all Forbes dogs were named after a BEVERAGE. Hence, PEPSI!
