CHAS’ Xmas DINNER 2008
Several friends & I meet once a month for a Pot Luck Dinner, taking turns hosting it.
There were TWENTY of us at the Miller Fandamily Manse December Pot Luck!
And, as usual, ‘twas followed by a Pickin’ Party. (Helleeew – MUSIC!)

Son of David & Kim Keim, WILLIAM’s Birthday is April 7, 2008.

RAY & CAROL’S 2007 HOLIDAY ROAD TRIP to HOUSTON
Ray & Carol left Lincoln the day after X-MAS – their FIRST TRIP sans RV! –
and stayed with Steve and Jodi (and fandamily) until after NEW YEAR’S DAY 2008!

LADY ANNA Ren Fest Pix
In May of 2007, Lady Anna (the love child of Mistress Annabeth and a Stinking Filthy
Peasant named, Drew) attended the Nebraska Renaissance Faire on BOTH DAYS.
She even “worked” the Faire; telling people their Rune Stone Fortunes and PAINTING the
RUNES on body parts. She was so good at it (and enjoyed it so much), that she’s worked
a couple other Faires since then – and I hope to put her back to work in 2009!

RAY & CHAS’ October 2006 ROAD TRIP!
Ray & Chas travelled to Grand Junction, Colorado – without KILLING EACH OTHER (surpriZe!) –
to retrieve a FOOTSTOOL that was needlepointed by Carol’s real Mum, DOROTHA, in 1931 …
put away (HIDDEN!) by Mae when Carol was just a child …
then SOLD by Mae to an antique dealer at some unknown time …
where it was ACCIDENTALLY RECOGNIZED and thereafter RESCUED (purchased) by
MARION JACOBSON – who generously offered to GIVE IT back to Carol!

Only 12 TRIP Pix – We drove there & back in 3 Days (October 15th – 17th).

A Bunch of FOOTSTOOL PIX – taken both BEFORE & AFTER we had it
RESTORED by a company in Omaha.

CHAS’ MARCH 2006 Trip to LAS VEGAS
After planning to do a UK TRIP with her in MAY/JUNE of 2006, I thought it would
be smart to VISIT RUBY first – after all, we hadn’t seen each other in YEARS!
Perhaps we SHOULDN’T be placed in Close Proximity for TWO WEEKS! LOL

Ruby & I met back in the early ‘90s when we both were Denver General Paramedics.
[We occasionally worked together as the paramedic “BROAD SQUAD!” LOL]
Ruby went on to become a DOCTOR, then specialized in FORENSIC MEDICINE.
She now has a PRIVATE AUTOPSY PRACTICE in Las Vegas.

RUBY & I in LAS VEGAS Pix o’ Ruby’s Puppies, as well as
a couple pix of Ruby, her daughter Joanna, and I going to CIRQUE SHOWS!
I had a BLAST staying with Ruby at her gorgeous Las Vegas ranch house.
We got along splendidly! We also were able to spend several hours planning what we
would do after leaving London (Ray & Carol), and trekking off into England and Scotland.

Meeting LIVERPOOL FRIEND at a CASINO
Carol & I met playing Online BRIDGE. In 2002, she and her then-hubby (now ex-hubby)
met Susan & I for a Hampstead Heath Pub Crawl during our UK trip that year.
During my 2003 UK Trip, I stayed at their home, in Liverpool.
But, I hadn’t seen her since then. HER TRIP to Las Vegas is what actually caused me
to schedule a TRIP TO VISIT RUBY!!!
