Still in Sherwood Forrest …

After playing with sharp objects, the Ladies found the BIG SWING!
(I forget what the Lads were doing at the time.)

THE SWING! THE SWING! THE SWING!
Jodi took the girlz through the first time.
I took them through when they wanted to go again.
When they wanted to go a THIRD TIME, we just sent them on their own!!!
After that, we called a HALT to the swing gig.
(They wanted to keep going … and going … and going ...)

The only real “BUMMER” of the day
(since the rain ended up being fun!)
was that we MISSED THE NOON GRANDE PARADE!!!

We came slogging rapidly out of Sherwood Forrest
only in time to see the very tail end of it.
‘Twas tres disappointing.

So, we made sure to be early for the JOUST!
Although arriving early
for the joust
meant waiting a bit,
it ensured us of
the BEST seats
(and the muddiest)!
