Originally, Sir Hubert was going to come live with us (in May, 2000). Unfortunately, Sir Hubert turned out to be Lady Hubert! Since we had our hearts set on a Baby Boy this time, we decided to check out Lady Hubert’s siblings.
Jean Pierre Rampal, the famous flutist, died on May 20th.
Sir John Gielgud died on May 21st.
Although I felt “closer” to Sir John, the Kitten seemed better suited to the name,
“Jean Pierre,” than to the name, “Gielgud!”

Born the day before sister Kim’s birthday (April 4th), Jean Pierre is a domestic long-hair, “Tuxedo” kinda Kat. He’s primarily Black, with two proper white “gloves” on his front paws;
two debonair, white, rear “socks;” a charming white chest and a big-ol’-white tummy.
His face is all-black, save for a little white slash that runs from half of his lower-lip
down to his white neck and tummy.
What’s really FUN: In spite of being located only within black fur,
his whiskers are ALL WHITE!
Barely bigger than my portable phone, and smaller than my ratty-old slipper –
Jean Pierre weighed only 13 ounces when first seen by Kathy, our Vet!

Luper is NOT amused with Jean Pierre.
Knowing Luper, she may NEVER be amused with him!
DITTO, for Jelly!
Sylvie, however, plays with – and even BATHES – our Baby Boy!
