Our Mystical OVERNIGHT In
BURGDORF HOT SPRINGS!

Much of Burgdorf’s construction consists of natural wood from the immediate area.
Including an enormous amount of “burled” wood!
As porch rails,

as cabin supports – everywhere!

One of the two
downstairs beds
in our cabin.

(I slept in one of the two
upstairs beds
in our cabin!)

Beds come with
a mattress cover
and a pillow.
That’s IT!

The “springs”
consist of a rather large pool
fed by both
the HOT SPRING and
some cooler water,
with a HUGE LOG
floating in it
to play on
(what a HOOT
trying to get on top of it!)

At the east end
of the pool,
is an enclosed area
where ONLY the
HOT SPRING WATER
comes in.

(WAY too hot for
MY comfort!!!)

The “run-off” water
from the
hot springs pool
feeds into a small creek,
and that is where the
“Hippie Tub” used to sit!

There, folkz could soap-up
and wash away their grime
(and blues?)!

The TUB ain’t there
NO MORE!
