Day 5, July 6th |

Beginning on the first Sunday in July – during Braemar Gala Week – a different Pipe Band parades and performs in Braemar each Sunday through July & August. The band starts up at the Invercauld Hotel (a place I’ve yet to visit!), performing there for about a half hour. Then they play while marching down to the Fife Arms Hotel, where they stop and perform for another half hour or so.

at the Village Hall, we all trekked up to the Tourist Center sidewalk across from the Fife Arms Hotel, and secured a good place to view the PIPE BAND.

Obviously, we could hear them long before we could see them!
But, at last they rounded the bend by the Butcher shop, playing and marching their way to US!
