In September, 2002,
while partying at the
Braemar Royal Highland
Society Post-Games
“Hospitality” Tent
I had my pic taken with some
entirely anonymous pipers
who just happened to have
caught my eye. |
Oh, SurpriZe! these pipers also happen to be in the
Ballater & District Pipe Band!
After seeing our
Aberdeen friends off,
Anne & I went up to
the Fife Arms Pub.
There, I immediately
recognized Ian
(from the 2002 pic)
among the
four pipers piping
in the Fife Arms Pub!

Ian remembered me,
and was honestly happy
to see me again.
(He’s the guy I chatted
with about Nesbit.)
Ian and his associates are
very, very friendly people
– kindly agreeing to let me
have my pic taken with them
– again and again and again! |
They played for HOURS, and we all had a wonderful, wonderful time!
