Day 6, July 7th CAWDOR TAVERN

Between the DRIVE from Braemar to Inverness … touring Culloden Battlefield in the RAIN
… and visiting Cawdor Castle, I was READY FOR A WEE TOT!

Thankfully, I’d noticed the CAWDOR TAVERN’s sign while enroute to Cawdor Castle. So, THERE I WENT! (Put your MOUSE on the pic!)

I had hoped that there would be several “locals” perched upon stools, tipping tankards (and the like).
But, alas, I was the ONLY PERSON THERE. So, I enjoyed a glass of wine, and brought my
Trip Journal up to date. Then, I STUDIED THE MAP to the Youth Hostel –
hoping that I could go INTO Inverness and actually FIND the sucker without getting lost!
