CORRIMONY CAIRN
& STONE CIRCLE

“From the
Loch Ness Centre
we head off on a
fascinating adventure …
to a prehistoric
chambered cairn and
Neolithic standing stones. …
This was the burial place for
a single individual about
4,000 to 4,500 years ago.

It was opened in 1952
and it is possible to
climb inside and on top
to get a detailed view of
the construction methods.”
