Day 7, July 8th
I Finally
Get to See a
HAIRY COO

When Suz & I
toured the UK in
September, 2002,
we never did run
into a long-haired
Scottish Cow
(a “HAY-ree COO”).

However, I
managed to
snag this
POSTCARD
of one for my
2002 UK Trip
Web Pages!

ON THIS TRIP: Perhaps we were ahead of schedule … or, maybe this was a Regular Stop enroute from Corrimony Cairn to Urquhart Castle … but, at some point along the way, Alison pulled over to let us out for “a brisk walk.” We followed her along a footpath through a gorgeous forest. Then, after leading us over an old bridge, Alison called our attention to a pasture there.

LO, and
BEHOLD

there, in the pasture,
was a
REAL LIVE
HAIRY
COO!!!

Unfortunately,
the dang thing
was on the
FAR SIDE
of the pasture.

It DID turn its head
when I called to it,
though!

“Yo, MOO,
HAIRY
COO!”
(Hey! Alison & my
Tour Mates had
picked up on the
fact that I was
a NUT CASE
LONG before this!)

After I finished verbally abusing
the Hairy Coo (for not being
closer to us in the pasture),
Alison instructed us each to
search for a small STICK
as we walked back to the bridge.

Why? To play
POOH STICKS
from the bridge,
of course!
These pix are “stolen” photos of
the ACTUAL Pooh Stick Bridge
(somewhere in Sussex, England)!

I wasn’t on that bridge. In fact,
I’d never even HEARD of
POOH STICKS before this.

Apparently, my childhood
was Pooh-deprived.

However, thanx to Alison,
I’ve now learned to play
POOH STICKS!!!
