Day 11, July 12th
More BATTLE Mustering
& WENCHES!!!

BATTLE Tyme nears! The Crowd Gathers!

Considering how many
warriors went trudging
through the crowd
from the
EAST CAMP
to the WEST side
of the Battlefield
(where the
WEST CAMP was),

I’ve just decided that
… maybe …
the Re-Enacting
LANCASTER
and YORK
armies
DID camp together!

Why else would
some of them have to
“relocate” to joyne up
with their fellows?

How APPALLING!
LOL

Yet, this made for GREAT Photo Opps!

“KEPTAN!
There be
WENCHES
HERE!!!

HUZZAH!
Although I was the ONLY
USA-type “WENCH”
at this fayre, there were

several
WATER
WENCHES

present!

E’en a MALE
Water Wench!

However, these Wenches
weren’t nearly as full o’
silly fun as the USA-types.

Indeed, especially because
of the FLIPPIN’ HEAT,
these Wenches served a
truly VITAL purpose!

They bore bags and bottles
o’ water onto the Battlefield,
to ensure that no one
FELL from dehydration!

And, because they had to
actually TRAIPSE ABOUT
on the BATTLEFIELD,
they all were
HELMETED!

Once all the
Warriors,
and the
Water Wenches,
were in place

The
Battle
Musicians
strolled
through!

The crowd had gathered … The “STAGE” was set …
The PA SYSTEM problems were corrected (lol!) …
AND, ALL WAS READY FOR THE BATTLE TO COMMENCE!!!
