"I Made Mine Chocolate"
How many times in my life
Have I heard it being said,
"In case you have to eat them,
Make your words chocolate instead."
It's a common fact we're human.
We say things we often regret.
That's why I made mine chocolate,
So my stomach won't be upset.
Did you fill your plate this morning,
With chocolate coated words to swallow?
Did they give you indigestion
Or did they leave you empty and hollow?
Have you said hurtful words
Or caused a heart to break?
I made mine chocolate,
'Cause, then, they're easier to take.
