make your own fruity PLACEBO lip gloss!

supplies: 2 tablespoons of solid shortening (like Crisco or something) 1 tablespoon of fruit flavored presweetened powdered drink mix in any color & flavour you like a bit of glitter (if desired; very fine glitter works best) a microwave a small plastic airtight container (film containers or empty lip gloss pots works well) clear tape or contact paper your favorite picture of placebo

directions: mix the powdered drink mix & the shortening in a microwave-safe bowl. (NOTE: don't use unsweetened then add regular sugar, it'll be grainy and won't work as well) Microwave on high for 30 seconds until mixture becomes a liquid take it out of the microwave & stir it pour the liquid into your small container and add glitter (or whatever you want) place your container in the refrigerator for 20 to 30 minutes or until it is firm decorate your container as you see fit (i recommend one of these pictures)

alt method: take a store bought tube of lippy, cut a pic slighty smaller. glue pic in place on the tube and cover w/ packing tape and trim. made any of your own Placebo stuff? got a project idea? try any of these ideas? please email dee w/ your comments
