Do it yourself Placebo projects!

make your own PLACEBO pillow!
supplies:
  • sewing supplies (thread, needle, pins, and so on)
  • scissors
  • pillow stuffing
  • trimmings (ex. lace, rhinestones, sequins)
  • old Placebo t-shirt OR

  • a plain t-shirt
  • iron-on letters or fabric paint
directions:
  1. cut the arms off the shirt and trim bottom to desired length (keep in mind the pillow will be smaller)
  2. *skip this step if you're using a pre-decorated shirt* if you're using fabric paint, decorate the shirt and let dry overnight. if you're using iron-on letters, iron them on following their given directions
  3. turn shirt inside out and sew up the arm holes and bottom (not the top!)
  4. turn shirt right side out again and fill up with stuffing to desired poufiness
  5. sew the collar closed
  6. add any final trimmings and VOILA! a nice soft Placebo pillow for your snuggling enjoyment

note: if you trim a lot off the bottom or if the shirt had big sleeves then you can use the fabric to make more little Placebo pillows
for example: i made a black pillow out of a big t-shirt that i ironed letters on to say 'narcoleptic' and from the bottom quarter i made a pillow for my cat that says 'leeloo' in gray fabric paint that i stenciled on
