| On July 2, 2005 nine simultaneous, free conerts took place all around the world to raise awareness in support of the campaigns 'Make Poverty History' and 'Global Call To Action'.
Placebo performed The Bitter End & Twenty Years in Paris, France (at the Palais de Versailles). Many other bands also played at that concert, including Muse & The Cure.

A 4-disc DVD set of highlights from the concerts worldwide was released on November 7, 2005 (Nov 8th in the USA). Proceeds go to the Band Aid Trust for the relief of African hunger & poverty.
Disc 3 contains Placebo's performance of Twenty Years. |
The Paris concert was also released as a single DVD; it contains both of the songs performed by Placebo.
