Pix Taken At The
2014

Renaissance
Festival

As usual, we set up around the
Wench Tree

Since we don’t do the Wench Walks anymore,
I put my Ye Olde Lust Muster Poynte banner in the BACK of our area,
to mark the entrance to the “private” muster area.
(Hey! A “Lust” is a group of Wenches!
Much like a “Gaggle” is a group of Geese … a “Murder” is a group of crows …
and so on.)

Mistress Leeenda & Master Mike set up the
Curio Collective booth in their favorite spot.
It was especially festive this year!

My Rune Fortunes and Sir Leo were in the middle …

And Sas joined us again!
Funtastic Faces Facepainting

Her booth is MAGICAL … like stepping into the bower of a Gypsy Queen

I think people had as much fun waiting to be painted as they did being painted.

Oh! Janet was with us this year!
But, I didn’t get any pix of her…
Dammit.

She did some Rune Stone Fortunes
when I was elsewhere.
(That’s what she’s doing in this pic)

Anne Sweet also helped out with rune-stoning!
But, Janet was the only person able to
regale visitors with Sir Leo’s Banter
when I was absent!

Laura, of Laura’s Massage And Spa
set up her Renaissance Relaxation massage chair across the path from us.

And, our friends serenaded us all day
from the secret Muster Spot behind the tree.

The weather was SUBLIME!

Never too hot, and always a lovely breeZe.

Best of All … Sir Leonides was front and center for all to Adore!

He rarely was ever alone … the kidz luved him!

Plenty of adults stopped to pet and admire him, as well.

None of us took any pix of the adults, though. LOL

Here’s a sample of the BANTER that welcomes folkz to visit him:
“Come and meet SIR LEO!
He’s a Knight from the realm of NARNIA …
Captain of ASLAN’s Feline Legion.

YES, it’s safe to pet him, he enjoys that.
[TRUE!]

Oh, he’s NOT grumpy – he
LUVZ visiting this realm!

[Blatant LIE. (LOL)]

The fact that he is unable to SPEAK
when in a realm other than Narnia, however,
is a HUGE source of FRUSTRATION for him.
He’s a VERY opinionated Kat!”

Poor Sir Leonides was VERY, VERY TIRED by the time we left!

And, THAT’S IT for the 2014 James Arthur Vineyard Renaissance Festival!
