As I mentioned before, the weather was better-than-fine for The James Arthur Vineyard Renaissance Faire, in May, 2000. It was sunny – without being HOT – for most of the day.
About 5 p.m., or so, however, the RAIN came in. (I’d put an “unfortunately” here, but the rain became a prelude to even bettah FUN!)
Most of the Faire-Goers left when the rain came – as did ALL the Lincoln's Society for Creative Anachronism members! (“Bravely ran away, away!” – Putz!)
BUT, being Right-Wenchly-Women, four of us stayed on,
(Liz, Chas, Kim, and Konni)
as did three of the Lincoln Irish Dancers
(Bet, Laura, and John).
