[Meaning, we were the ones who instigated all the Wenchly activities –
dragging several other Wenches along with us!]
Kim, Liz, & Chas Ready to Wench-Out!
(Posing in the front yard before leaving for the Faire.)
Even though it was very sunny most of the day –
the temperature stayed gloriously cool.
Jacki, Kim, Chas, Konni & Liz
Once at the Faire, we met up with Jacki (a client/friend of Kim’s) and Konni.
Obviously, the first order of business was to GET WINE!
Equally obviously, we accomplished this business in Right-Wenchly Time
(in other words: “Right-FAST!!!”)
Jacki, Liz, Kim, Konni & Nancy
Nancy is a friend of Jackie’s and another of Kim’s client/friends.
She initially was a little self-conscious about the
“Little-House-On-The-Prarie” nature of her costume.
But, as you can see, IT DIDN’T MATTAH!
She was just as much A WENCH as the rest of us!
WINING [not the verbal type – the liquid type (check the spelling, for goodness’ sakes)!!!] is obviously of primary importance to a Vineyard’s Renaissance Faire. Looking back (blurrily, the next day), we believe that our group inhaled approximately 2.5 to 3 bottles PER WENCH!!! Ok. Maybe more.

Alas! Twas so swiftly swilled!
