Why Denmark?
Spector Doesn't CAIR!CAIR, pronounced 'CAH EAR', is an acronym for "Council on American-Islamic Relations." Based in Washington, D.C. and having offices in SiliValley, California, it promotes understanding of I Slam by distributing copies of the QueerOn, holding information meetings in various cities in the U.S. and getting signatures for its 'Not in the name of Islam' Petition calling for moslems to understand that those who commit acts of terror, murder and cruelty in the name of Islam are killing innocent non-moslems and are also betraying their faith. They claim that one-fourth of Americans (Editor: Presumably non-moslems) consistently believe stereotypes such as: "Muslims value life less than other people," and "The Muslim religion teaches violence and hatred." Their position on the recent riots throughout moslem countries that have destroyed western property and at least in Nigerian, murdered Christians is that the Danish Cartoon are an insult to Mohammed but moslems have over-reacted. Most moslems in the middle east insist that this blasphemes Allah though. Blasphemy is defined as to revile or abuse and using this definition, Spector does not intend to revile or abuse Allah, for the QueerOn says in Sura 5 Aya 51, "Allah does not like evil doers." Spector agrees with this text; we do not like evil doers either, and therefore we agree with Allah and do not and have not blasphemed, reviled or abused Allah. We do think I Slam is too prone to violence. Let us look at the reason for the Danish Cartoons to see whether they were justified and why.
Why did the Danes do it?
There are interesting facts about this story that have not been reported in the U.S. Press. It seems the offending publisher of the cartoons, Jyllands-Posten got into this mess for a reason Spector finds to be reprehensible, not to the Jyllands-Posten but to moslems. In September, 2005, Danish author Kare Bluitgen, a children's book writer, said he was unable to find an artist brave enought to depict Mohammed for his upcoming illustrated book when three artists turned down Bluitgen’s offer to illustrate the book for fear that they would pay with their lives for doing so. Jyllands-Posten tried to help out by issuing a call for submissions from any artists willing to take up the challenge. Publication of the images from this challenge has been condemned around the Islamic world and has led to calls for a boycott of Denmark by Muslim nations. In the ensuing brouhaha, the original book was almost forgotten; it has now been released, and does feature page after page of Mohammed depictions. (See Billeder fra Kare Bluitgens bog: Koranen og profeten Muhammeds liv for the book that started the Mohammed Cartoons that in turn started a riot.) The Koran and the Life of the Prophet Muhammad, by Kare Bluitgen, illustrated with ten pictures of Muhammad, is the children’s book was meant as a tool to teach Danish children about Islam, and it certainly did. Danish Imam Raed Hlayhel was the first to react. "This type of democracy is worthless for Muslims." Spector wonders what type of democracy is useful for Muslims? The only moslem democracy in Spector's opinion is Turkey and possibly Jordan. Spector believes the government of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait work reasonably well but they lack a good means of succession so within a decade there could be civil war. Spector does not believe Israel to have a true democracy but a theocracy only slightly better than those of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and other moslem countries. Spector doubts Iraq or Afghanistan will ever have democracies. The Danish newspaper apologized for publishing caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed that triggered a firestorm of protest. Protests against Denmark spread to many Muslim countries, Danish PM Anders Fogh Rasmussen has appeared on Arabic television to try to defuse a worsening row over cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad in Danish papers. Protest in the Muslim world over cartoon images of the Prophet Mohammad escalated after newspapers in France, Germany, Spain and Italy reprinted the cartoons. The newspapers are justified in their claim they reprinted the cartoons, originally shown in a Danish newspaper, as a defense of freedom of speech and the right to publish.
CAIR and Death ThreatsBut why were the Danish artists afraid of being killed? It turns out there is an example of moslem violence as the result of cartoons. There was a cartoon by Doug Marlette in December of 2002 depicting a Middle Eastern-looking man behind the steering wheel of a nuclear-bomb laden Ryder rental truck under the headline, "What would Muhammad drive?" This was actually a jibe at conservative Preachers who were arguing against gas guzzling SUVs and asking, "What would Christ drive?" But neither ignorance or free speech deters the Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (Yes, one and the same CAIR) who orchestrated a letter writing campaign and according to Marlette. CAIR also demanded an apology from Doug Marlette's syndicater, Tribune Media Services, and from his employer, the Tallahassee Democrat. Marlette told WorldNetDaily he would not apologize, though he received thousands of e-mails from angry Muslims, including threats of mutilation or death. For all the years ever since, Spector has been calling for CAIR to disclaim that the form letter they distributed called for death or mutilation. We have eMailed CAIR, written letters and even phoned to ask if their sample letters called for violence of any sort. If they did, then Spector believes the law should handle CAIR for promoting death threats and perhaps the Federal RICO law should be applied, resulting in criminal conspiracy charges and even Federal takeover of CAIR's organization and assets. If they did include threats of violence in their sample letters, then they should condemn anyone who sends threatening letters in the name of CAIR or I Slam and apologize to Marlette for what happened. CAIR should also cooperate with any investigation or prosecution of those who added violent threats to CAIR's sample letter. CAIR has done none of these things. Spector concludes I Slam to be prone to error and terror, and that CAIR is a mildly terrorist organization that solicits money from Americans as well as moslems to fund its terror and hate. Spector believes moslems should be more active in the fight against terrorism. Why doesn't anybody use them to prevent suicide bombings on basketball games, trains and buses. Just have a Muslim with a fake explosive belt on every bus, so when a real bomber gets on, he'll look about and say, "Oh, this one's already taken". As an aside Spector notes that it might be reasonable to ask What Would Marlette Drive? Why not use the "what would a messiah or a founder of a religion think?" technique for political analysis? What is Moses's opinion on second-hand smoke? He is the one who forbade the eating of pork after all. Does Krishna have an opinion on securities regulation? What would Jesus think of a reduction in the capital gains tax? How about Lao Tze's position on gun control or Mary Baker Eddy's on national health insurance? In any case it is doubtful such analysis would lead to threats of death. Only in I Slam! The Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs displays Major Anti-Semitic Motifs in Arab Cartoons on a JCPA website. It seems more than a little hypocritical to zero in on one cartoon while ignoring their own insulting humour directed at other religions. So CAIR is apparently not a peaceful group but suspected of being terrorist to some extent and they won't even come forward and deny the charges. What would Allah think?
Are there more?
Yes, there are even more examples and we don't even have to mention the Assahola GhoMaimMe's Fatwa of death against Salmon Rushdie that was followed by the Iranian Student's Association offering a $2,500,000 reward for Rushdie's murder. Johnny Hart's B.C. cartoon in November, 2003 showed a caveman entering an outhouse at night, and then saying, from inside, "Is it just me, or does it stink in here?" Noting the strip contained a total of six crescent moons, and wondering if it might be a cryptic slur on moslems, CAIR's spokesman was sure it was a defamation of Islam! This controversial Islamic lobby group demanded an apology from radio counselor Dr. Laura Schlessinger for an alleged "anti-Muslim tirade" on her program in November, 2003. Schlessinger, whose coast-to-coast show is heard by 12 million listeners, "crossed the line from legitimate commentary on terrorism to Islamophobic bigotry," charged CAIR. Her comments were in response to a mother who asked whether her 16-year-old daughter should take part in a high school class trip to a local mosque. The visit was part of a "moral themes" class that aimed to help students learn how Schlessinger replied to the mother: "This is a class on morals. What is the point of going to a mosque? What culture and what religion were all the murderers of 9-11? They murdered us. That's the culture you want your daughter to learn about?" Seems a reasonable question to ask. I Slam-ic violence is affecting normal people. The leading Irish comedian, Andrew Maxwell, said he had originally written a large segment of his show on the theme that it was impossible to have a British suicide bomber. "It was a very key section of his show, about the Britishness of Muslims, more interested in owning a car and making a cup of tea than extremism. It was, in a nutshell, that you would never get a British suicide bomber, that the 'normalness' of British Muslims would preclude them ever being fanatical enough. The audiences loved it but it proved to be completely wrong and irrelevant after British Muslims happily blew up London trains and buses. Humour, as we well know, is an ethereal thing. Spector believes those pesky Danes got in trouble trying out free speech when they were right. It is a good cartoon actually, reflecting our times and, had Mohammed had access to explosives, his time. But there are good things that come out of the bad. It seems there is a moslem comedian who is Egyptian and Danish and he gets death threats. He is Omar Marzouk and he tours other European countries as well including Scotland where he had to change the end of his show, War, Terror and Other Fun Stuff, because it involved detonating a fake bomb. He says he posts death threats on he receives from both camps on his Web site. His websites seem to be in Danish keeping it a secret from moslems who are more likely to read English. During a tour of the British Isles Omar Marzouk had to change the end of his show War, Terror and Other Fun Stuff because it involved detonating a fake bomb. Next the Three Stooges' movies will be banned because of violence! Not theirs, but I Slam-ic violence that has been everywhere.
Let's be Fair. Now moslems are planning to test the limits of the West's love of freedom of speech. It is true there are limits; Justice Oliver Wendel Holmes said in his opinion creating complete freedom of speech said shouting "Fire" in a crowded theater was one. Others have been advanced including 'Fighting Words,' words expected to make a person fight. These are decided on a case by case basis by Juries and not by mobs. If moslems want to test the limits on this issue they should sue in court. But no, they are planning to have cartoons about Nazi atrocities. One already published shows Hitler in bed with Anne Frank. Spector has long believed too much weight is given to Nazi images so that today they are reverse graven images; destroying them makes people holy and owning them makes people bad. Therefore we believe satire about this subject is overdue. The Broadway show, The Producers is a good start. Showing Hitler in bed with Anne Frank is in poor taste but among the cartoons moslems find offensive are some that show Mohammed with his child-bride Aisha that also may have gone to far. No one knows when Mohammed did consummate that marriage and we shouldn't forget that during the middle ages Royal families married underage heirs to the throne to princesses of another ruling family. Supposedly those weddings weren't consummated until they were older for the young marrieds didn't even reside in the same country until then. Therefore we think cartoons of this issue are in bad taste. Consider cartoons such as this Czech Web site featuring one showing Mohammed as a nude suicide bomber with his six-year-old bride Aisha and another of a priapic Mohammed dragging Aisha from her doll. (NOTE: it is overloaded with interest from articles such as this one.) Spector has doubts of the propriety of marriage to a six-year-old but at that time of the Seventh Century it may have been common for all we know. There is some confusion about what the cartoons may be that cause alarm among moslems. The delegation of Danish imams went to the Middle East to 'discuss' the issue of the cartoons with senior officials and prominent Islamic scholars, the imams openly distributed a booklet that showed 15 imagesnot only the original 12 cartoons. The three fraudulent anti-Mohammed depictions are much more offensive than the ones published in Denmark. It is maybe these three bonus images are what ignited the outrage in the Muslim world. See the newspaper Ekstra Bladet's copy of the booklet, though not easy-to-find, and all look like low-quality photocopies. The extra ones are Mohammed as a pig, bestiality and a sketch of Mohammed as a demonic pedophile. Compare those to the Jyllands-Posten drawings and you may conclude these others are the most offensive.
What would Jesus Do?Christians seem to be more tolerant of insults; perhaps because Christ taught them to turn the other cheek; a lesson I Slam needs to learn. Christians in the U.S. demonstrated this when paintings were displayed of Christ that were not at all in good taste. In one, the painting included a hollow glass jar containing a statue of Christ on a crucifix immersed in a yellow fluid, urine. (Andres Serrano, Piss Christ, c. 1989). In another, used elephant dung and pornographic images (we were told) in a picture of the Virgin Mary (Chris Ofili (a London artist of African descent and possibly moslem), The Holy Virgin Mary, c. 1999). There were protesters, mostly peaceful ones in keeping with Christ's teachings, but most protestors objected to Federal money being spent on such art. At the time Spector complained that Federal money should not be spent on anything with dung unless fecal analysis is involved. To Spector's knowledge, no Federal money is spent on pictures of Mohammed of any sort (and we should complain about THAT!) but who knows. See Non-Controversial Christ Painting Under Fire From Art Community. The point is that Americans peacefully protest what displeases them, they may cause disruption and even minor damage but if really unhappy they use the courts. Perhaps that is the excuse of I Slam, but whose fault is that. Spector has always maintained that the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq would not have been necessary if I Slam had any Rule of Law. Now, in Iraq, the political issues of the new constitution have turned to inter-sect violence that may lead to more violence and even civil, or in the case of moslems, un-civil war. The comparison of the peaceful Christian protest against offensive art to moslem violence for a few cartoons published in a language no one understands or reads is not trivial. What is remarkable is that the U.S. press is reporting about the demonstrations by moslems but not showing the cartoons despite showing images of Piss Chris and The Holy Virgin Mary but not really showing the cartoons from Denmark. In some cases a photo of a newspaper with the cartoon showing obliquely is included and the Smirquery Gnus even apologized for publishing that. Few have shown the cartoons you see above here in Spector. This suggests that I Slam seems in America to have a kind of different status. It seems that people don't want to criticize it because they are afraid of being called racist or being killed. This is a problem because it shows that we do not see moslems as a part of our country but something alien and this leads to other problems. Take for example, a public school for adult education. Some of the I Slam-ic students demanded a room where they could pray. Those who were in charge of the school didn't want this because they feel that school and religion should be separate but they knew that if they didn't comply, the moslem would just go to the board and complain. Then board would then tell them to do it! This is wrong. If it was ordinary Christian who had made the demand they would have been laughed at. Or take the prison rules allowing moslems to wear beards but not Americans. The reason for the rule is that a beard gives a hiding place for contraband such as drugs. Why are moslems exempt? Why can a moslem pray twice a workday plus get the two breaks per workday the others get? Why do newspapers offend Christians and not moslems. For that matter, they don't offend Jews either. To show the ignorance of moslems when goaded on by other moslems for their own ends, hundreds of paintings, drawings and other images of Mohammed have been created over the centuries, with nary a word of complaint from the Muslim world despite the Islamic prohibition against depicting Mohammed under any circumstances. The recent cartoons in Denmark's Jyllands-Posten are nothing new; it's just that no other images of Mohammed have ever been so widely publicized. See Depictions of Mohammed Throughout History. It seems as if moslems spend a lot of time dissecting anything comedic for possible hidden insults. The question Spector asks is this: How can I Slam enter the modern world (They are 480 years late already) if they can't come to grips with the rule of law and the benefits of freedom of speech?
It seems it is the moslems who are putting the bomb in Mohammed's Turban!(The following was drawn by the Publisher's four year old Grand Daughter who, if she is like her Gampa, is headed straight to hell!)

So, what should moslems be doing instead of holding violent protests. Well, here is our suggestion to non-moslems and moslems. The next time you see a moslem ask them, "What are you doing to stop moslem violence?" If they need prompting, tell them to ask the same question you just asked, then ask them each of the following: "What are you doing to stop Fatwas of Death?" "What are you doing to stop killing non-moslems who go to Mecca?" "What are you doing to stop circumcision of males and females?" "What are you doing to stop jihads that aren't attacks on I Slam?" "What are you doing to change the complacency of the Ummah, moslem community, with regard to violence?" These are the Five Pillars of moslem Violence for each promotes violence in its way. Fatwas such as O'Swami bint Laudenum's against Americans and Assahola GhoMaimMe against Salmon Rushdie not to mention the many against the 'Miss World Contest,' women who are pregnant outside of wedlock and many others, all call for death and in the case of the great-grand-nephew of Van Gogh was in fact killed. Surely Mecca is wrong to kill non-believers just for attending a holy shrine? And this gives great credence to killing other non-believers for whatever reason. Circumcision of males is not too painful but it is unnecessary and can do irreparable harm. However, circumcision of females is painful when done and can even kill you, painful nearly every menstrual cycle, painful when entered sexually, and painful and sometimes deadly during childbirth. It goes without saying that there are few if any cases of Jihad justifying war with its violence and death. Although the case can be made today that the civil war in Israel-Palestine is a legitimate Jihad it was not the case when the Jihad was first pronounced by the Mahdi of Beirut in the early 1940's. The Uhmma at least condones and often creates violence against others but such is not what Mohammed had in mind when he argued for the Uhmma. All of these Five Pillars of moslem Violence are evil and it is up to moslems to stop them. This can be done by asking moslems in America the questions above and telling them to ask those questions of other moslems they meet in mosques, in America or in moslem countries they visit. It is a variation on the rule of six degrees of contact, the number of moslems will grow geometrically until the majority of moslems have had to think of them. Then it will seem natural to stop the causes of so much violence.
On the first day of Ramadan, 2003, a truck with a Red Cross on it was loaded with explosives at a mosque and driven to a hospital in the Father of Sacks, Baghdad, where it was exploded. On the first day of Ramadan, 2004, American troops were fired upon by snipers in the minaret of the mosque nearby. (Both of the above statements are true, Believe it or Not!) I Slam is violent in Word and Deed . . . . . . And the Word is the Queeron.
. . . And the Deed is I Slam-ic History.
There is no Allah but God and O'Swami bint Laudanum is his only messenger!
