PRE-NATAL HISTORY
The baby's mother is in her teens, is 5'4 1/2 " tall, weighs 125 lbs, has brown hair, blue eyes, and a fair complexion. She is of English and Irish descent. She has always been in good health as have the other members of her family.
The baby's father is in his twenties, is 6 feet tall, weighs 150 lbs, has brown hair and brown eyes, and a medium complexion. He is of English, Irish, and Indian descent. He has always been in good health.
There were no complications during the mother's pregnancy and her RH factor is negative.
DELIVERY HISTORY
After a term pregnancy and 8 hours labor a baby girl was born presentation vertex. The delivery was spontaneous. Anesthesia local and baby breathed immediately.
NEO-NATAL HISTORY
The baby was born with MILD EQUINUS VARUS of both feet, so casts were put on legs immediately after birth. Otherwise the baby's hospital stay was uneventful. She started on Enfamil and all feedings were well taken and retained. The baby was discharged 3-17-71 weighing 7lbs 1 oz.
