The Amalgamated Regional High School reunion committee extends a thank-you to all the sponsors and other supporters who made the recent reunion weekend a resounding success.  There were 710 registrants for the reunion which was held from July 28-30.^th..   Over 300 were out of town guests with some from as far away as Colorado, Washington and Florida.

 

Many who attended hadn’t seen some of their schoolmates for over thirty years.. A teacher, who hadn’t been back since leaving Corner Brook forty-two years ago, said while visiting the school:

 

“This is magical - it’s like walking back in time”  - which pretty well sums up the experience of most who attended the reunion.

 

Approximately $4000 was raised through ticket draws and registration fees which will be donated to Herdman Collegiate and local charities.
