If you don't hear the audio file, first check these
things:
- make sure you are waiting for the audio file to
download (it may take a minute if you have a slow internet connection)
- check your sound card and speakers
- check your browser (we use Micro$oft
Internet Explorer)
Here's what you do if the sound plays for a moment
and then pauses:
- click the
wav file link. This is located on the last page you were at in the
sentence under the animation
- your browser should download the whole file and then
play it automatically
- if the file is downloading, there will probably
be a download meter at the bottom of the screen
If you are still having trouble, try downloading the
file by doing this:
- right click the link and
select "save target
as..."
- make sure to remember where you saved it
- after the download has completed, try playing it with a program like
the Real Audio player which can be downloaded for free from www.real.com
