As many avid fans of the Star Wars Universe will know, many novels have been written that continue the story of Luke and company. The best-selling trilogy so far has been Timothy Zahn's Thrawn Trilogy. It introduces several new characters whcih are subsequently used by other authors, and it just makes for rivetting reading, even if the ending is a bit unsatisfying. Here are a few card ideas based on the storyline. As always, suggestions are welcome.
.Grand Admiral Thrawn
During your deploy phase, may take any number of starships OR one Spaarti
Cloning Cylinder into hand from Reserve Deck, reshuffle. Adds 3 to forfeit
and 2 to power of all starships present at same system. Immune to attrition <5
.Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight
Adds 3 to power of anything he pilots. When present with opponent's Mara Jade,
subtracts 2 from the deploy cost of your Mara. When present with your Mara,
she is immune to attrition <3. Immune to attrition <6.
...Spaarti Cloning Cylinder
Use 3 Force to deploy on Mount Tantriss, your Super Star Destroyer or any site
with no [LS Force] icons. Your character of ability >2 present may attempt
"clone" a non-droid character of lesser or equal ability. Draw 2 destiny. If
destiny > targetted character's ability, target is cloned. Use Cylinder to
represent clone.
