Princess of the ancient Kingdom of Zeal, Schala is an extremely gifted child with extraordinary magical powers. Some say that her powers even exceed that of the Queen. Schala is a kind, sociable woman who is always looking out for others. She is the admiration of everybody in both kingdoms of people. She helps Crono and friends when they have been captured and is the only Enlightened One, besides the gurus, who treats the Earthbound Ones as equals. She feels a great deal of love towards her mother, even when she sees the evil has taken over Zeal. Even when she knows that the Mammon Machine is dangerous, she activates it anyway, simply for her mother, triggering the awakening of Lavos and the destruction of Zeal. In the end, nobody is really certain what happened to Schala. Some say she died, while others claim she ended up in another time. The list of possibilties goes on. One thing is for sure, however. Her brother, Magus, will keep searching for his lost sister, till death claims his body.
