Sure, 98º have tons of talent. Otherwise, the hipsters- Nick Lachey, Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre- wouldn't be climbing the charts with red-hot hits like "Because of You" from their super-cool 1998 CD 98º and Rising. But these guys also have some secret (well, until now that is) strategies that keep the skip in these singers' steps.

"We say a prayer before each show," 25-year-old Jeff reveals to BOP about their pre-show practices. "We pray to make sure everybody is healthy and has a good show and performs to the best of our ability. It's just something that's very important to us. We've done it since we've been together."

While the guys engage in that backstage bonding ritual together, Justin, 26, reveals that silly-boy Jeff's got a solo ceremony that pumps him and his sensaysh songmates up right before a show! "Jeff has this little hip shake that he like to do before a show- it's sort of a mutant-Elvis sort of thing," the platinum-coffied crooner giggles as he tries to explain. "It's very hard to describe it, but once you see it, you'll never see anything like it again!" (Can you say "watch it wiggle, see it jiggle"?)

That may seem silly, but it sure doesn't sound like these sweet-to-the-bone babes are off their rocker with these absolutely essential acts, considering that they've already released tow CD's and their first-ever headlining tour is in the works!
