Pictures from the Past - Part 3

The pictures below were emailed to me by Elizabeth Mifflin, who had received them from her brother Don. Originally the pictures were obtained by Don from Gordon Bradley.I hope that they bring back many pleasant memories of growing up in Bonavista in the mid 50's. The lineup of kids waiting for the Garrick Theatre to open on a Saturday afternoon is one of my favorites. Just imagine, it was possible to see a double feature and the latest chapter in "The Adventures of Superman" for the price of 10 cents. All that as well as being able to hold hands (or at least sit next to) your girlfriend for over two hours. It was even possible to trade comics with your friends before the movie started.
It might take a while for the pictures to load since I've posted them just as they were received. Have patience!
