I recently received the picture below from Harold Tremblett and added it to my website in case it might bring back some fond memories for residents from the Catalina - East Point area. To quote Harold -

Sheppard's Cove, a small fishing community that used to exist on the outskirts of East Point, Catalina. The road to the Beacon Lounge on East Point once used to go further out for one mile or so to Sheppard's Cove. The photo shows what it looked like in the 1940s. Around about 1950, all the houses were pulled in to new locations on East Point and to other parts of Catalina. I obtained the photo from John White, a caretaker of the Anglican cemetery in Catalina.
