This show is basically about a beautiful, young lady that seemed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Nikita was homeless and living on the streets. One night she was walking by an alley where she witnessed a vicious murder. She tried to help the victim, but before she could do anything she was being held at gun point by the police. She was accused of killing a man, and sentenced to life in prison. One night she was taken to Section One. There they gave her two options, either work for them or she will be executed. They taught her how to fight, kill, computer skills, and anything else that she would need to know to complete her missions. For her family and friends, Section One faked her death. While in the section, Nikita tries to create a personal life of her own, but her plans are always disrupted. In Section One, there is no such thing as a personal life...
