ABDUCTED

Have you seen my little girl,
Who was abducted away from me?
They say that she was taken,
While walking home from school, you see.

I can only hope the person that has her
Does not hurt her in any way;
I ask this of God,
While on my knees I pray.

The search has turned up nothing,
She is nowhere to be found.
Hopes of her being found alive
Seems impossible all around.

The policemen came to my door
And with them, I must go;
To identify a little girl
If she's mine, I need to know.

As they lead me to her,
I am so scared, you see;
That my daughter's lifeless eyes,
Will be staring up at me.

When she is finally uncovered,
I let out a cry of pain.
For never again will I see,
My darling daughter again.
