Momma got pregnant, again and again,
the river flooded up by the dam,
again and again,
the trout are running good down by deadman's
stump,
we'll go a fishing soon,
when the snow finishes melting up in
the holler run.
Daddy's hurt his back good this time, again and again,
Daddy said times are gonna be tough,
there is no overtime to chase,
those cheap imports are kicking our
butts,
there are talk of lay-offs this Summer,
the foremen are worried,
I just can't wait to move out of here,
gonna head out West,
got me a little girl pregnant,
I need to make the Union's list,
maybe get a job in an aircarft plant in Seattle,
making oil field bits down in hot Houston town.

we'll have a big family,
