Appearance - About six feet tall, jet-black messy hair, around shoulder length, dark eyes, often dressed in a trench coat, a black one. Never seen to smile except a sort of sneer, dark eyelashes that make him seem a touch more scary, very pale complexion. He walks with hands in pockets, glaring around him. He seems to exude a harsh cold-ness that makes most people shy away from him.
Personality - Kirin is a very bitter and heartless person. He seems to think the world holds a grudge against him. People were born to suffer in his opinion. He scorns human convention and rules. He places no value on human lives. Despite the fact that he himself is human. He lives solely to track down and kill Blaise Archer.
History - He is a slayer who is hunting down the fledgling Blaise Archer. However... their history goes back much farther than the 4 months Blaise has been a vampire. Kirin knew Blaise's stepfather... he was his younger brother.
Kirin was born in Florida, he grew up with his older brother Charles in a trailer park. Their mother didn't much care what they did and their father was in prison all of Kirin's life. He died in prison when Kirin was a sophomore in high school. Kirin didn't much care since he had never known him. Kirin idolized his older brother Charles. Kirin was about nine years younger than Charles was. Charles was high placed in the Council of Slayers. Kirin looked up to his older brother, idolizing him a great deal.
Kirin was not happy when Charles married Blaise's mother when he was 29 in 1993, and he despised Blaise because Blaise hated Charles. Kirin was about 21 when Charles married her. When Blaise accidentally killed Charles in the house fire, after Charles killed Blaise's mother, Kirin pretty much lost his grip on reality. He's been stalking Blaise ever since... when he found that Blaise had become a vampire, Kirin petitioned the council for permission to hunt him down and the council, glad to have Kirin out of their hair, gave him full permission to do so. So Kirin has been tracking Blaise... he has almost killed Blaise on many occasions as well. Blaise doesn't recognize him... having only seen him a few times in his life.
Gift - the ability to paralyze with his piercing gaze... always works on normal mortals... and works somewhat on vamps and slayers.
