Appearance Long blonde hair, icy blue eyes, stands about six feet tall, rather slender but firm, very graceful and tends to be soft spoken unless he is made angry.
Personality Very gentle, very wise, very old! He has been through an awful lot in his life and it gives a certain coloration to his perspective. He tends to be rather quiet and introspective. A sharp contrast to his daughter Caitirin.
History Tristan was born in Constantinople in the year 726, the younger of twin boys. He and his brother were sold into slavery when they were four and Tristan was rescued by his godfather Laurent when he was 13. He lived with his godfather until his Godfather died when he was around 20 years old. After that he traveled the world on his own and he chanced upon a rather touched vampire woman who turned him because she was so enamoured of his beauty.
Tristan very quickly lost touch with his humanity and spent a great deal of time playing out the traditional EVIL vampire role. He finally became overcome with guilt and wallowed in depression for a long time until he met Rachelle. She became his entire world, they were soulbonded and married as well. They had a daughter Caitirin.
However, the peace was not lasting as Tristans brother Seiran, showed up once again. His mind was horribly fractured and he murdered Rachelle in a bizarre bid for revenge against his little brother. Tristan was forced to kill him which he never quite got over. He will never be able to love anyone again quite like he loved Rachelle. They share the same spirit in effect and will only be truly happy when they are reunited in the afterlife when Tristan dies. Tristan never has the courage to take that step into final death because he loves his daughter Cai far too much to leave her alone.
