CHRISTY WHEN SHE WAS ABDUCTED

Christy Luna is believed to be a victim of the same man who is the suspect in the abduction of Tammy Belanger. Like Tammy, Christy has never been found.

BACKGROUND:
Marjorie Christina Luna, known as Christy, was an 8-year-old, the afternoon of 27 May 1984. She walked about 400-yards (about the length of four football fields) from her home to Greenacres Grocery (now Belk's General Store) to get her two kitties, Boo-Boo and Skeeter some food. She left the store between 3:00 and 3:30 p.m. with the cat food and has never been seen again.
Christy had just turned 8; her birthday was 7 April. She was 4'0", caucasian, 60-pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair. She was wearing a turquoise bodysuit/bathing suit. She has a strawberry birthmark on the right side of her back, crooked teeth, a slight speech impediment, and is hearing-impaired.
