Phantom's beard.
Check out Phantoms little beard. We started noticing Phantoms beard when he was about 5 months old. It has become more prominant in the last 2 months and is quite cute. Phantom is a blue & white smoke, with blue pads on his white feet. He has amber eyes. He is the only kitten with a beard in a litter of 8. |
Phantom with Junior
Here is a front on photo of Phantom with Junior his brother with near identical markings but no beard. The little spot of white under the chin is phantoms beard. Incidentally, Phantoms favorite spot is sleeping like "spoons" with my husband John. - Susan |
Priscilla La Mew
This is a photo of my mothers cat a 20 year old Patched Silver Tabby who has both silver/smoke and full color areas. She also has cream and orange, and if you look closely you will notice there is no barring in her orange areas. Note her silvered areas are chinchilla ( white 3/4s of the way up the hair shaft) and her full color areas ( only the dark orange)have color to the roots. We do not know if the silver gene she has is patched or if she is what is called a Chimera or has Kleinfelters ( genetic problems that cause a cat to have multiple Chromosomes ). She is gorgeous and won 4 firsts at her one and only show. She also rules the household with an iron paw. Her nickname during feline disputes is Prisgilla ( Godzilla). |
