Slayers Fantasy Follow-up -
Mirror Mirror
"Heard you had quite a mission," Irvine said,
handing some hot peach tea to Alex and a glass of lemonade to Seifer.
"It suh-ucked," Alex moaned, rolling his eyes.
"You're still pissed because Kili drugged you for
most of the flight there," Seifer said, sipping his lemonade.
"I was almost over that bit of trauma, thank you
very much," Alex sneered, taking a sip of his tea before adding more
sugar. "I didn't get any vacation time at the store, and a SeeD's
salary sucks at times."
"So what's this I hear about a new charge armor?"
Irvine asked, pulling Alex's sleeve up. "I don't see the wristband any
more."
"That's because it transformed," Alex said,
unclipping the digivice from his belt. "Damned if I know why it did
that."
"According to Tiskili, she wore charge armor,"
Irvine said, running his fingers up Alex's arm in a playful manner,
"and so did someone else."
"She and Mik tried on two sets apiece," Seifer
explained, kissing the back of the cowboy's neck, "and Alex here
achieved a level three charge."
"Level three?" Irvine asked, raising an eyebrow.
"How..."
"Damned if I know again," Alex groaned, cutting
Irvine off, "it just sort of.... happened. Seifer punched the keys, the
charge took effect, and both of my armors combined."
"You lost me. when did you get a second armor?"
"Spike's."
"Isn't he..."
Seifer shook his head to indicate now was not the
time to ask about the vampire. Irvine nodded and hugged Alex from
behind. "I'm sorry to hear about Ridley."
"It's all right," Alex said, melting into the
embrace, "Washu and Meltdown are working on a way to fuse Ridley with
Meta Ridley."
"Should I even ask?"
"Will's summons," Seifer said, "a stronger version
of Ridley."
"Ouch. Harsh."
"Got blasted pretty good," Alex smirked, "so it's
all good."
The door to the closet opened, and from there
stepped Washu, her dark goggles still on. "I've finally done it," she
announced, two Washu puppets appearing on her shoulders.
"Washu you are a genius," Puppet A stated.
"Washu you are the greatest in the universe!" Puppet
B said, applauding.
"A hahahahahaha!" Washu cackled, "Piece of cake!"
"So the fusion worked?" Alex asked hopefully.
"Perfectly," Washu beamed, "give or take a few power
levels. He's damned strong now."
"Bitchin'!" Alex said, taking his materia stone back.
"Just be warned," Washu said, her tone very
cautionary, "he may have a period of time when he will be difficult to
control, and that may be due to fusing two very strong personalities
together."
"So is he Ridley or Meta Ridley?" Seifer asked.
"Meta Ridley," a voice said in their heads with a
bit of a growl, "and don't you forget it."
"Answers my question," Seifer said, drinking his
lemonade.
"I'm going back to check the data on level two and
level three charges," Washu said, stretching her back and arms, "send
dinner down if I miss the bell again."
She stepped back into the closet and vanished into
the flash of a transporter. Seifer looked at Alex and Irvine before
closing the door and locking it.
"Whatcha doing?" Irvine asked, arching an eyebrow at
Seifer, who was drawing the blinds.
"Getting ready for some quality us time," Seifer
replied, pulling his boots off, "I haven't had any since before the
mission, and I need that itch scratched."
Then allow us to serve you," Alex purred, unzipping
Seifer's shirt, "what would you like to do first?"
"Whatever you want," Seifer said, clapping his
hands, the lights going out. "Your choice."
"I wanna be bad with you," Alex purred, kissing
Seifer deeply and passionately. "Show me how to be bad."
"With pleasure," Seifer said with a lustful growl.
