It had been quiet for a few weeks and the Senshi
and Warriors were bored beyond belief. Alex and Adderson, seeing as there
was nothing better to do and the weather was beautiful, decided to drive
to the beach with a pair of Adderson's girlfriends. Derek, also being somewhat
bored to tears, joined the group in their beach trip.
It was a very warm weekday morning when they
arrived at the beach and piled out of the mini van which Adderson had borrowed.
They took in the panoramic view of the crashing waves and the massive fog
bank which formed from the sun warming and drying the wet sand. Seeing
there was no real place to set their gear due to large crowds, the group
decided to take a long walk on the beach.
As they strolled along the beach, the girls
stuck to the sand while Derek, Adderson, and Alex walked next to the water.
The only interesting thing any of them found was the long piece of driftwood,
which Alex carried with him after discovering it.
As they walked on, Alex began to pick up on
some bad vibes, which he blew off as nothing. All of a sudden the ground
beneath him buckled and a giant claw broke through and clamped onto his
leg. He shouted in horror as a crab monster erupted free of the sand, flipping
him upside down into a position of weakness. When the girls saw the situation
Alex was in they screamed in terror.
"Get to the van!" Alex shouted to the panicking
girls.
"What about you?" one of the girls shrieked,
backing up rapidly.
"I'll be fine! Adderson, Derek, make sure
they get to the van!"
"Right!" Derek said, taking off to assist
the girls.
"You going to be ok?" Adderson asked.
"Just make sure the girls are safe," Alex
said.
"Ok. We'll get back as soon as we can," Adderson
said as he ran off to catch up with Derek and the girls. Once the four
were out of sight, Alex took a look at the situation he was in and thought
to himself, 'Good, now maybe I can do something to get out of this situation.'
He then stretched his right hand so it was above his head and shouted,
"Star Crystal POWER!"
The jewel in his ring glowed a brilliant violet
before ribbons unfurled from it, wrapping his forearm and forming one of
his gauntlets. The jewels in the gauntlet glowed before energy flowed from
them around his body, forming his body suit and his armor. Once he transformed
he attempted to break free from the monster's grip, but nothing seemed
to work.
"Give it up," the monster chuckled, "Your
friends have deserted you."
"I don't think so!" came from the fog.
"Neither do I!" came from the opposite side
of the monster.
"What took you so long to get here?" Alex
asked, looking into the fog.
"Had some trouble with Jackie and Vicki,"
Adderson said, stepping from the fog bank, the sun glinting off his midnight
black armor.
"Yeah, we asked them to stay in the van and
lock the doors, but they wanted to come with us," Derek said, emerging
from the fog on the other side, his staff preceding him, "We had to agree
to take them to dinner."
"I'm gonna cancel those reservations," the
crab creature said, clacking its other claw. The ground beneath Derek and
Adderson buckled and two claws popped out and grabbed onto their legs.
Two more crab creatures exploded out of the ground, flipping Adderson and
Derek upside down as the monsters extended to their full heights. Now all
three of the Warriors were trapped.
"Shit!" Adderson exclaimed, "We're fucked!"
"Yeah dude," Derek said, "This sucks!"
"I'm not about to give up," Alex said, lifting
himself up enough to smash the piece of driftwood over his captor's head.
The crab was so stunned by what his captive had done that he dropped Alex,
who back flipped away before looking at the driftwood. Inside the aged
wood was a transformation pen with a star surrounding the symbol of Saturn.
He pulled the pen free of the driftwood, hoisted the pen into the air,
and shouted, "Saturn Super Nova POWER!"
More rings of stone and ice surrounded Alex,
whirling around and ultimately adding more power to his armor. A twin scabbard
formed on his back. Blades formed off of his gauntlets. His visor also
materialized, giving readouts on their captors.
"Hey you ugly pieces of seafood," Alex shouted,
"drop my friends and pick on someone your own power level!"
"Don't mind of we do," the creatures said,
throwing Derek and Adderson off to one side. They then charged at Alex,
who leapt into the air and performed a spin kick, cracking one of the monsters
in the head. He then produced the thunderhawk bow and drew back the string,
a golden arrow forming. He aimed and released the arrow, piercing the chest
of one of the monsters. The arrow burst into flames, consuming the creature
and dusting it instantly. The other two creatures double - teamed Alex,
taking him to the ground and pinning him. They then proceeded to drain
his energy.
"Not again," he said, "I'm... sooo.... tired."
At this moment Derek and Adderson recovered
and, upon seeing the predicament Alex was in, decided to jump into the
battle and save their friend yet again.
"Leave him alone or you're gonna get trouble!"
Derek shouted, pointing the garnate orb in his staff at the monsters.
"Better make it double!" Adderson added, drawing
his gravity blade and holding it down by his side.
The pair charged at the monsters, weapons
drawn. Derek cracked one creature over the head with his staff, knocking
it unconscious. The second creature drained Derek's energy for what it
did to the first, but not before Adderson ran it through with his sword.
He then leapt into the air and proceeded to finish it.
"Omni Strike!"
Energy collected around his blade as he held
it above his head. He then slashed downwards, releasing a tremendous beam
of light, which struck the monsters and destroyed them. The energy the
monsters had absorbed was returned to the people which it had been drained
from. Derek and Alex recovered in time to see the creatures finish disintegrating.
They then looked to see Adderson touch down, an ear to ear grin on his
face.
"Did you do that?!" Derek and Alex asked in
disbelief.
"I guess so," Adderson said, slightly stunned
by his new attack, "I don't really remember that much."
"Another example of what can happen when you
get really upset," Alex said.
"You might say that."
"Will someone please explain to me what's
going on here?" Derek asked.
"We will... eventually," Alex and Adderson
said before chuckling. A sweat drop formed on Derek's head. At that moment
a strange sound came from behind them. The three turned around and witnessed
a portal opening. Through the portal they viewed the Silver Millennium,
on the moon over 1000 years ago.
"Woah," Alex gasped in disbelief.
"Intense!" Derek said.
"Should we go in?" Adderson asked, looking
at the other two.
"Sure!" they all said at the same time. They
then began walking towards the gateway. They were about to step through
when Derek said, "Shouldn't we have disguises?" Adderson and Alex fell
over when they heard this. They quickly recovered and Alex said, "Yeah,
that may be helpful."
He took his own Lunar Pen and held it in the air. Derek and Adderson
touched the pen while Alex shouted, "Disguise Power! Turn us into..."
"Wandering minstrels!" Derek shouted as the
power began to take effect.
"Wha?!" Adderson began to say, but it was
too late. The transformation took effect, dressing them in fancy clothes,
changing their hair styles, and giving Alex an oboe, Derek a harp, and
Adderson a flute. They looked at one another before stepping through the
portal into the Moon Kingdom during the Silver Millennium.
