*Blink blink*
“Alex, how do you feel?”
‘Kelly’
*Blink blink*
“Hey WS, are you alive or what?!”
‘Tiffa’
*Blink blink*
“He appears to be in a state of shock.”
‘Xellos’
“No wonder he is since he saw everyone vanish
before his eyes.”
‘Aeris’
hmmmmmmmmmm.....??
“He’s waking up.”
‘Piccolo’
“About time he woke up.”
‘Rei’
“Do we *really* want to be here when he comes
to. I mean, he may mistake us for the ones who took the others or his brain
may be lagged.”
‘Celia’
Alex West sat up on the small cot the others
had set up for him. Around him sat Kelly Plourde, Celia Briggs, Xellos,
Tiffa, Aeris Gainsborough, Rei, Piccolo, Aximili, Myria, Sinclair C, and
EEH, all looking like they hadn’t slept for at least a week. He blinked
a few more times to clear the sleep from his eyes and get his bearings.
“Did somebody get the license of the battle
cruiser that ran me over?” he asked, half expecting to hear Steve Huff
reply with some corny bumper sticker. When he didn’t hear the familiar
line he said, “They’re all gone, aren’t they?”
“Afraid so,” Kelly said, her eyes dropping
to the floor, “you’ve been out of it for four days and we’re all surprised
you didn’t break every bone in your body from the fall.”
“Well, I’m back and ready to go to their ship
and kick their butts for what they did to the others!” Alex grumbled, wincing
from the well bandaged bruises on his back and chest.
“On the good side you didn’t break anything,”
Aeris said, “on the down side...”
“You’re bruised from head to toe,” Celia said,
finishing Aeris’ sentence. Aeris playfully smacked Celia upside the head.
Alex grumbled under his breath from some of the pain.
“Think we should give him a healing spell?”
Kelly asked. Celia and Aeris nodded and the three formed points on a circle
around Alex. The three chanted the spell under their breaths, not a word
spoken above a whisper. They simultaneously called, “Recovery!” as white
light enveloped Alex, who screamed out as waves of pain ripped through
his body. They cut off the spell as he curled up and hugged his knees.
“I think we need a spell that doesn’t rely
on his energy,” Aeris said.
“You mean a Resurrection spell?” Celia asked.
Aeris nodded.
“Unfortunately none of us know that spell,”
Kelly said.
“I can’t take the system shock that spell
induces,” Alex said, indicating the Recovery spell, “fortunately I know
how to cast a Resurrection spell.”
“So cast it all ready,” Rei grumbled. Tiffa,
EEH, and Myria all smacked him for being insensitive.
“Blessed humble will of God,” Alex chanted
under his breath, “life and breath of mother earth. I pray thee to come
before me, show your great compassion to me, and deliver me. RESURRECTION!”
A blanket of white light wrapped around Alex,
covering him form head to toe in healing energy. The bruises which were
visible all over his body began to shrink in size, ultimately vanishing
and with them the pain they caused. The total casting time for the spell
was ten to fifteen minutes, since the wounds were of such a great magnitude.
Once the spell ended Alex sat up in bed, raised his right hand to the sky,
and prepared to transform.
“Saturn Star Power TRANSFORM!”
Waves of violet light poured over his body,
an amulet in the shape of a star burst forming on his chest. Ribbons unfurled
from the amulet, wrapping around his wrists and forming his gauntlets.
From the jewels in the gauntlets came more ribbons, which wrapped all around
his body to form his under suit and armor. The scabbard which held his
no-dachi formed on his back, the smaller scabbards which held his death
daggers formed on his hips, and finally his Thunderhawk bow formed on his
back under his no-dachi. He finished his transformation in the same manner
as he had been lately.
“Well, at least his equipment has improved
with his power up,” EEH said.
“Yeah, but I bet he’s as immature as ever,”
Rei said under his breath. Three energy balls struck him a moment later,
the smell of burnt fur filling the air. “I can take a hint,” he said before
collapsing.
“So, what’s the call?” Xellos asked.
“We track the subspace signature of the craft
and follow them,” Alex said, “once we bust in we free the others, steal
a shuttle craft for them, set the self destruct, and head for home before
it goes critical.”
“And just HOW do you propose to do that?”
Piccolo asked.
“Yeah,” Kelly said, “we can’t exactly steal
a space shuttle.”
“And we don’t own a rocket of our own,” Aeris
added.
“We use gear power,” Alex said, a slay look
on his face. Celia, Aeris, and Kelly looked at Alex like he had three heads.
Tiffa noticed how the other three looked and
said, “Gears are a sort of mecha armor piloted by a human. Warrior Saturn’s
is Unit 09, an Evangelion unit.”
“Likewise there’s Escaflowne, Eva Unit 01a,
and multiple others, each customized for the user,” Myria added.
“I think I understand now,” Kelly said, “so
these mechs can get us where we need to go?”
“Yup,” Sinclair said, nodding, “but first
we need to find them.”
“I’m way ahead of you,” Myria said, holding
up a printout from her computer, “according to my calculations they’re
moving at a slower rate of speed than normal, putting them just past the
orbit of Saturn. If we lift off within the next ten minutes our chances
of catching them is 15% greater than if we wait.”
“Then let’s head out,” Alex said, his armor
glowing, the glow engulfing him and expanding. The glow eventually solidified
to form Evangelion Unit 09. A moment later the Eva knelt down, the back
opening and the entry plug ejecting. Alex stepped out and shouted, “Aeris,
you’re with me for this trip. Xellos, I know your powers will allow you
to travel without a mech. Celia and Kelly, find somebody to pair up with.”
The members of the RPGVA summoned their gears
to them. A moment later several large mechs were belched forth from subspace,
all opening to allow entry to their pilots. Xellos formed a barrier around
his body to protect him from the effects of space travel. Celia and Piccolo
entered the Escaflowne mech and Kelly entered the SDF-1 with Aximili. Once
the mechs closed and all hatches were secure they came online, eyes glowing
as they powered up.
“This is Unit 09 calling other RPGVA gears,
how do you copy?”
“SDF-1 is online and ready.”
“Tenshi ready to go.”
“Fei Yen is fully functional.”
“Escaflowne is all set.”
“Unit 01a here and we’re set to go.”
Alex took a deep breath, centering himself
and his mind so that he might be able to properly synch with his Eva. Aeris
sat in the copilot's seat, strapped in securely, her eyes closed, her hands
clasped, her mind focusing with Alex’s. A moment later Alex said, “You
ready to go Aeris?”
“I’m as ready as I’ll ever be,” Aeris said,
opening her eyes and placing her hands on the backup controls, “Let’s go
save your.... no, OUR friends.”
“You heard the pretty lady,” Xellos said over
the radio, “Let’s head for space!”
Booster engines roared as mechs took to the
air, energy wings unfolding from the backs of Tenshi, Unit 09, and Unit
01a. Escaflowne transformed into a giant dragon and the SDF-1 changed into
a battle platform as the mechs gained altitude. After a few moments of
full burn they achieved escape velocity and left earth’s orbit, their trajectory
taking them toward the visitor craft.
“Mechanic, how goes the extraction of the pilots
from the Evas?!”
The blond woman was sitting in a command chair
on the bridge of the craft. Seated next to her was the dark haired man
and the dark haired woman. All three had since changed out of their red
and black jumpsuits into black leather of varying sizes and shapes, but
all tight.
“Mi lady, we have yet to crack through the
hulls of either Eva. Both Unit 10 and Unit 11 should be out of power, but
for some reason they’re still kicking,” a mechanic with a stubbly beard
and greasy black hair said over the view screen.
“Find some way to get them out or else,” the
woman said, cracking a whip she held. The whip struck a redheaded woman
across her barely clad behind, causing her to cry out in pain and pleasure.
The man on the screen blushed before signing off.
“God, we’re dealing with idiots,” the brunette
said, holding her head in her hand and shaking it back and forth. the man
put his hands on her shoulders and began to kiss the back of her neck,
his hands caressing her gently. The blond slapped him upside the head a
moment later.
“We are NOT to turn this fic into a citrussy
or lemony love fest,” she said, grabbing his ear and pulling him from the
brunette.
“But honey bunch, you know how wonderful a
leather orgy would be,” the man said pleadingly.
“Maybe later,” the blond spat through gritted
teeth. It was apparent she was trying to avoid losing her temper because
her whip broke in half a moment later. “Keep your mind on the mission,
not on sex!”
“What about the bishounen you have stored
away?” the brunette asked, looking the blond in the eyes. The blond blushed
a moment later. “Well, looks like little Aura had some ideas.”
“Cork it Blayze!” Aura spat, striking the
brunette across the face with her whip. A red welt formed on Blayze’s face
a moment later as her hand went to cover it.
“No fighting you two,” the man said, encircling
each woman with one powerful arm. Both Aura and Blayze sighed and laid
their heads against his well built shoulders and stroked his muscular chest.
“Colt, you know exactly how to please us,”
Blayze sighed, drawing designs on his stomach with her finger.
“I like to keep my girls happy,” Colt said
as he kissed both of the women. Aura clapped her hands and the command
chairs were cloaked in darkness.
“Eeeew, yuck,” Rei Ayanami said as she and
Drew watched the feed from the security cameras, “can’t they get a room?!”
“I think they have a policy of wild and free
love here,” Kaworu said from inside Unit 11, “at least that’s what I gather
from all the leather and spandex.”
“And all of them are incredibly good looking,”
Rei added, staring at the image of a man with spiky black hair, a chiseled
physique, and gorgeous green eyes, “what a babe!”
Drew sighed as he looked at some of the security
feeds. A few were focused on the glass tubes where the Slayers and warriors
were being held, and occasionally a familiar face would move to the front
of the tube, only to move back into the miasma of gel and bubbles a moment
later. “We can’t get out of here, and Alex is the only one who can do anything,
and he is just one person.”
“We can do something,” Kaworu said, “we can
survive until he arrives. I know he will make it here, and he will have
helpers with him.”
Drew looked up from the floor of the entry
plug and said, “You really think so?”
“I agree with Kaworu,” Rei said, “he WILL
come and help us, but for now we need to foil the attempts of those who
would harm us.”
“Yeah, I guess you guys are right, and we’re
going to foil them good. Rei, are weapon systems still available?”
“Only the rocket launchers. Our legs are bound
to the floor, our arms are secured to the walls, and there is scaffolding
around us on all sides. Our shoulders are free, though, so we can open
the silos.”
Rei punched several keys, accessing the protocols
for the missile silos. On the external cameras they could see the armor
on the shoulders open and a pair of large towers emerge from inside the
Eva’s upper body, smoke pouring from around them. Several apertures opened
in each one, multiple warheads emerging from the holes. Apparently this
was news to the engineers, since they started to move away from Unit 10.
“Looks interesting,” Kaworu said as he also
called up the weapon protocols for Unit 11. A moment later the chest panels
swung open on Unit 11 and the shoulders opened as well, missile launchers
opening from them and warheads extending forth. The engineers moved away
from Unit 11 as well.
“Fire away!” Rei said, punching up the firing
protocols. A moment later the warheads fired from Unit 10, spiraling in
random trajectories, striking things like walls and the floor and ceiling,
and exploded, blowing holes in objects and through the surrounding walls
and such. A moment later, amid the confusion, a mixture of liquid nitrogen
and foam poured from vents above the Eva units, covering them and sealing
everything except the heads and the backs in super frozen ice. The pilots
sighed as their systems began shutting down and backup systems came online.
“We’re screwed, aren’t we?” Drew asked.
“One last resort,” Rei said as she and Kaworu
extended their AT Fields and centered them around the entry plugs so that
nobody could get in without a lot of trouble.
“Now all we can do is wait and hope,” Kaworu
said as Unit 11 went off-line and the back armor opened, the entry plug
ejecting. A moment later Kaworu emerged and was immediately captured by
the engineers.
“Now what are we going to do?” Drew asked,
turning to Rei.
“We wait for Alex,” Rei said, “that’s all
that we can do.”
As the group of gears passed Jupiter on their
intercept course with the visitor craft, they began to draw up an attack
plan. Nobody knew if magic would work out in space, especially Shamanism
spells that called upon certain elements, like air and earth. Xellos quickly
explained how magic works by calling upon spirits, and each planet has
its own spirits, and there are spirits everywhere. With the explanation
Xellos gave everyone, they decided to be quiet and work on their plan of
attack.
“OK, how large is their craft?” Tiffa asked,
her Fei Yen pointing towards empty space.
“According to my calculations,” Myria said
from Unit 01a, “the craft is over a mile in diameter and about a quarter
of a mile to half a mile high. It’s a perfect circle, with many access
ports all around. The craft houses an incredibly large crew rather comfortably,
with a lot of space for everyone.”
“All’s well and good, but what about the people
themselves?” Celia asked.
“I’m finding those files right now,” Myria
said. A moment later several small windows opened on the screens of each
mech, displaying images and data about Blayze, Aura, and Colt, as well
as the engineer named Arshes and a computer specialist named Talon.
“Interesting,” Aeris said, “Colt and Arshes
are good looking.”
“Why are they all clad in leather?” Piccolo
asked.
“They’re all into kinky dominatrix sex,” Celia
said. Everyone groaned.
“How do we attack the craft?” Rei asked, Tenshi
moving in a way to indicate he was getting aggravated with things.
“According to the records I downloaded from
their craft,” Myria said, opening a large batch of files that took up several
screens, “their defensive shields are weakest from the underside or directly
overhead. They have to drop their shields for a split second before they
fire their cannons.”
“Baka,” a childish voice said over their communicators,
“you’ve got it all wrong and backwards. You need to attack them at such
a speed and angle that their shields will crash and burn.”
A moment later the image of a young girl with
silver hair done up in pigtails and intelligent gold-green eyes appeared
on everyone’s screens. She had a serious look on her face and she spoke
without emotion.
“My name is Ruri, and I know how to help you.”
“How long have you been monitoring our conversations?”
Tiffa asked.
“Long enough to gather enough data in order
to know your situation, the defenses of your enemies, and come up with
a better plan of attack.
“I’m not detecting you on scanners,” Aeris
said.
“Reconfigure your scanners to detect crafts
using gravity distortion fields.”
Each mech pilot performed the necessary reconfigurations
and a moment later a large battle platform appeared on their screens moments
before it materialized in space. The group of mechs stopped in their tracks,
each pilot in awe by the size and magnitude of the platform.
“Looks like they’re signaling us to land,”
Celia said as lights clicked on around a landing bay, flashing in a pattern
for landing..
“We should rest and refuel,” Sinclair said
as Unit 01a descended towards the landing bay. A moment later the others
followed Sinclair in for a landing. Once they landed the doors over the
bay closed and the bay pressurized.
“Do we disembark from our mechs or what?”
Rei asked.
“It’s safe,” Xellos said, waving an O.K. to
the others. Alex and Aeris disembarked from Unit 09 first, taking a deep
breath before leaping down to the floor. The others followed a moment later,
their mechs set on defensive measures.
“Welcome to the space platform Bishounen,”
Ruri’s voice said as her image appeared on a wall screen. “I trust you
landed O.K.”
"Wow, the guys are cute,” a redhead said as
her image appeared in a smaller window, some of her bangs falling into
her face.
“Not often we get visitors,” a brunette said
as her image appeared in a smaller window opposite that of the redhead,
“Ruri, are you responsible?”
“They needed some guidance for fighting the
visitors,” Ruri said.
“Invite them to the dining room,” the redhead
said as she stood up to show a pair of voluptuous breasts barely contained
in her top, “I want to meet them in person.”
“But Nameki, we all ready have a full compliment
of beautiful men on board,” the brunette said, “and you have flirted with
each of them several times.”
“Quiet Megumi,” Nameki said as she regained
her seat, “that tiger guy looks cute.” Rei blushed hotly a moment later.
“Bakas!” Ruri said, cutting off the feeds
from Nameki and Megumi, “follow the golden line on the floor to reach the
dining room. Find one of the large tables and sit there. Order whatever
you want since our cook is world class and I will meet you shortly.”
Once Ruri cut off her transmission a line
on the floor glowed in a beckoning manner. Alex’s stomach rumbled and the
group decided it was time to eat and refresh themselves before their attack
on the visitors.
“Unfreeze that one,” Aura commanded. She was
standing in the cryogenics room of the craft before the glass tubes. Next
to her was a computer terminal with information on the captors and in a
smaller window a picture of Zelgadis.
“Are you sure Captain Aura?” the crewman asked.
A moment later Aura’s whip cracked, striking the floor next to him. “I
needn’t ask.”
The crewman punched a few keys on a keypad
and a separate tube rose from the floor, filling with liquid and a body.
The liquid drained away a moment later, leaving a half frozen and asleep
Zelgadis in the tube. The crewman punched a couple more keys and a heat
ray defrosted the frozen chimera, bringing him back to the waking world.
Zel opened his eyes, blinked, and blushed when he realized he was naked
in the presence of a gorgeous woman.
“There is no reason to be embarrassed,” Aura
said as she advanced towards the tube, her leather dress slipping from
her shoulders as she stepped. Zel closed his eyes, turned a brighter shade
of red, and turned away. A pair of warm arms encircled his shoulders and
a set of firm breasts pressed into his back as a gentle and seductive voice
said in his ear, “Don’t be afraid. You are gorgeous and I want to be your
mate.”
Zelgadis turned from red to pale blue when
he thought of how steamed Amelia, Celia, and Lina would be if he did what
Aura wanted. All ready she was nibbling on his ear and kissing the back
of his neck, her hands caressing his arms, chest, stomach, back, hips,
and butt. “Please, not now,” he said in a wavering voice. ‘Why is my
voice wavering? Do I enjoy this human contact?’ his mind raced as Aura
stepped around to face him. She took his face in her hands and caressed
it before she kissed him with her voluptuous lips. ‘Oh god I’m going
to lose it.’
During lunch a warm blush washed over Alex’s
face, a glaze forming over his eyes as images flashed through his mind
- reeling images from a mind that was losing control.
“Saturn?” EEH asked as she observed this change
in Alex. She waved her hand before his eyes, and upon receiving no sign
of a response said, “Something is wrong with him.”
“He’s receiving images from Zelgadis’ mind,”
Xellos said, his violet eyes set in concentration on Alex’s face, “and
by the looks of things something is happening.”
“I smell citrus,” Ruri said as she, Megumi,
and Nameki entered. The cook and assistant cooks brought food a moment
later for the three newcomers. When Ruri noticed the look on Alex’s face
she said, “Is he O.K.?”
“He will be soon enough,” Xellos said as he
snapped his fingers before Alex’s face. A moment later Alex blinked, his
eyes returning to normal.
“What the heck?” Alex asked, “Zelgadis is
in trouble or something.”
“From the blush and the citrus smell something
good was happening,” Rei said. Tiffa dumped her drink in his lap a moment
later. Alex blushed when he realized what he had seen.
“Zelgadis is connected to you telepathically,
ni?” Piccolo asked. Celia spat her soda out.
“Um... yeah, you could say that,” Alex said,
putting his right hand behind his head and laughing. Kelly and Aeris fell
off of their chairs.
“He’s having sex, isn’t he?!” Xellos asked,
his violet eyes blazing.
“Something like that. His mind is reeling
and I saw the blond woman whose name is Aura.”
“We know that much,” Ruri said as she ate
her meal. Megumi and Nameki also ate, but looked from one male to another
in a daze. “We need to plot your battle plan.”
“We know that our friends are in cryo - stasis,”
Myria said. A moment later she gasped and covered her mouth. “Sorry...
guess I forgot to tell you that.”
“We know that Aura released Zelgadis,” Tiffa
said, “for what reasons I dare not think, lest I start to smell like citrus.”
“Enough discussion of Zelgadis and Aura,”
Alex shouted as he stood up, his hands smashing onto the table, “how do
we break through their shields so that we might attack them?!”
Ruri smiled and sat up, her chin propped upon
her folded hands, her elbows resting on the edge of the table. “I’m glad
you asked that. What you need to do is extend the wings of your Eva and
those of Unit 01a to their maximum length and utilize them as broadcast
energy transmitters. the more power you strike the shield with, the more
their shields will crumble. Once holes begin to form in the shield Fei
Yen and Tenshi should be able to slip through without much trouble. Thirty
seconds after that the SDF-1 should follow and transform into the robot
form. On the top and bottom of the craft are shield generators - Tenshi
and Fei Yen should use their energy blades on the on the bottom and the
SDF-1 should use the macross cannon on those on top. Once the shields are
down Escaflowne, Xellos, and the two Eva units should land on top of the
craft. Unit 09 should head for the center of the craft on the bottom levels,
where his friends are being held. As for the others, Fei Yen should make
haste to the engine room where she will take the engines off-line. Tenshi
shall head for the bridge, running interference for Unit 01a. the remainder
will cover the others.
The others seated at the table looked at Ruri
with glazed looks on their faces. All at once they exclaimed, “Say WHAT?!”
Ruri sighed.
“I took the liberty of uploading all relevant
data to your mechs, which have been refueled, recharged, and cleaned. We
also took the liberty of detailing and polishing them, plus we strengthened
the armor and optimized the onboard computers.”
“Thank you,” Piccolo said as he stood. He
walked up to Ruri, took her hand, and held it in a firm embrace. “We should
be going.”
“Awwww... so soon?” Nameki said, pouting,
“we hardly know one another.”
“We’ll visit on the way back,” Celia said,
looking at the others, who nodded.
“Have a good journey,” Megumi said, waving
as the people filed out of the room. Once they left she sighed and said,
“I didn’t get to kiss a single one of them.” Ruri called her a baka and
left the room in a huff. Nameki patted her on the shoulder before she walked
off to flirt with the cute doctors in sick bay. Megumi sighed and began
picking food from the plates on the table, her mind reeling with many things.
“Miss Aura, is this how these clothes are supposed
to fit?”
Zelgadis stepped from behind a dressing screen
dressed in black leather pants, black shoes, a white silk shirt, and a
black leather sport coat. Around his neck was a gold chain, and he wore
a set of black palm gloves much like his old off white ones. Sitting in
a comfortable chair across from the dressing screen was Aura, who had since
changed her clothes again so now she was clad in a flowing green silk dress
with a pair of emerald sequined slippers, elbow length gloves, and a green
ribbon in her hair. When Zelgadis stepped out she stood up and walked to
him, her hands going to his shoulders as she looked him from head to toe.
“You look wonderful,” Aura said, her fingers
dancing down Zel’s left arm and over to his left pec.
‘Why does this seem so familiar?’ Zelgadis
asked in his mind, ‘The last time something like this happened I was
dressed in a tuxedo and Celia wanted me as her toy.’ As he thought
of Celia he blushed lightly. ‘I know Celia and Alex and the others are
on their way... I can feel it. Before I went into cryo stasis I linked
myself telepathically to Alex so he sort of knows what is happening to
me and I sort of know what’s up with him.’
“Mister Zelgadis?” Aura said, breaking Zel
out of his thought. When he looked down she kissed him passionately on
the lips, her hands moving to his back and sliding up under the jacket
and shirt to stroke his bare skin.
“Madam Aura, Madam Aura!” a young lady with
straight flaxen hair said, gasping for breath since she had been running,
“Madam Aura, we’re under attack.”
“What?!" Aura exclaimed as the ship rocked
from a blast, “Where did they come from?!”
“They’re mechs with RPGVA markings,” the girl
said as Aura punched up tactical data on a computer hidden in a marble
pillar nearby. On the screen appeared images of Units 09 and 01a, the SDF-1,
Tenshi and Fei Yen, and Escaflowne as well as Xellos.
“That little scum bag,” Aura snarled when
she saw Unit 09. She turned to Zelgadis, grabbed him by his lapels, and
threw him across the room into a marble statue of Garv. Zel landed on his
feet, a fireball forming in his hands.
“About time Alex got here,” he said, hurling
the fireball at Aura, who managed to deflect it off to one side with a
sweep of her hand. “Wow, she’s strong.”
“You will be the first to die for betraying
me,” Aura screamed as she charged at Zelgadis, her hands extended like
claws, her mouth open in a grotesque manner, her eyes glowing red. Zel
dodged her hands, caught her around the waist, lifted her up, and kissed
her on the lips. Aura blinked and sank into his kiss, her evil intents
evaporating like water left in the sun. More blasts rocked the ship, yet
they never released the kiss. The messenger, upon seeing Aura flirting,
nay, making out with the enemy, left to tell Blayze and Colt.
“The shield generators here are out of commission,”
Tiffa said as Fei Yen resheathed its energy sword. Behind her Tenshi put
its swords back onto its back as the two raced to the meeting place on
the top of the craft.
“All is set up here,” Aximili said over the
radio, “Macross cannon succeeded in taking out the shield generators.”
“We’re coming in,” Sinclair said as Unit 01a,
Unit 09, and Escaflowne moved in and landed atop the craft. Moments later
Fei Yen and Tenshi joined the other mechs to regroup and reorganize. As
they waited for a sign several portals opened in the ship and Guardian
mechs exited, walking on magnetically enhanced feet. The SDF-1 and Escaflowne
turned their attention toward the Guardians, the pair taking on their humanoid
forms. Unit 09 punched into the side of the craft, missile launchers opening
out of the wrist and missiles firing off, blasting holes through several
floors before it leapt through and dropped a few levels before landing
in a large hallway. Fei Yen descended a moment later, landing back to back
with Unit 09.
“You ready Tiffa?” Aeris asked over the communicator.
Tiffa’s image blinked up on the screen a moment later.
“Yeah, I’m ready to blow the engine room to
pieces at any time,” Tiffa said as Fei Yen struck a pose, “I’ve got my
rail gun and I’m ready to have fun.”
“Wait for our signal,” Alex said, “I don’t
want to risk any injury to my friends.”
“Chill Saturn. I know what I’m doing,” Tiffa
said as Fei Yen took off down the hall. Unit 09 shrugged before it lumbered
down the opposite hall in search of the cryogenics room.
Meanwhile Tenshi has opened up a hole in another
part of the craft and had entered to make way for Unit 01a, which followed
a moment later, gun blazing as it blew away a few guardians.
“How goes it Rei?” Sinclair asked as Unit
01a covered Tenshi’s back with a spray of fire.
“So far, so good,” Rei said as Tenshi blasted
a path through some mech suits that stood in their way, “According to Ruri’s
calculations the bridge isn’t too far off from this hole.”
“Which could explain all of the guards here,”
EEH said from the copilot seat of Unit 01a. A moment later Xellos and Kelly
dropped through the hole, hurling fireballs at the incoming guards. From
both the front and back came some larger mechs which were far greater in
size than the guardians and also more formidable in a configuration unseen
by anyone on earth. These new mechs were obviously composed of bio-metal,
since their cores were slimy and organic, but the rest was a combination
of metal and flesh. One arm had missile launchers set upon the bicep, with
a mean looking plasma cannon where the hand should be. The other arm was
a whip composed of biomatter and metallic components. It has no visible
head, but between the hulking shoulders was an imaging port.
“We’re not going to let these tin cans get
in our way,” EEH said as Unit 01a fired a volley of shots at one of the
mechs. The shorts were harmlessly absorbed into the bio matter before being
fired back at the Eva. Kelly threw up a Balas Wall a split second before
the shots struck, much of the blast energy being channeled into the walls
and ceiling.
“This is going to take a while,” Rei said
as Tenshi went head to head with one of the bio mechs.
“Madam Blayze, Master Colt!” the flaxen haired
woman shouted as she entered the bridge area, “Madam Blayze, Master Colt,
we have a problem!”
“You’re telling me,” Blayze said, “My corset
just broke and my breasts are falling free.”
Colt was behind Blayze, a broken string in
each hand and his foot in Blayze’s back. His vest was draped over the back
of a chair, sweat glistening on his bare chest and firmly toned abs.
“Umm... it’s far worse than your lingerie,”
the woman said, a warm blush creeping over her face as she averted her
eyes. “There are enemy mechs inside and outside the craft and Madam Aura
is having an affair with one of the men we captured on Earth.”
“WHAT?!” Colt exclaimed as his weight shifted
to the foot in Blayze’s back, causing the brunet beauty to fall on her
face, her breasts striking the floor with an audible slapping sound. Colt’s
full weight in her back caused her to gasp in pain and in pleasure as her
breath was forced from her body.
“Colt.... you’re crushing me,” Blayze said
as she tried to push herself up to no avail.
“Which one of those men is Aura messing around
with?!” Colt snarled, ignoring Blayze’s attempt to get out from under his
foot.
“She’s fooling around with the chimera man,”
the woman said, her blush growing a brighter red when she imagined herself
in Colt’s arms or under his feet. A breeze alerted her to Colt passing
by her at a rapid pace, Blayze still on the floor.
“Thanks Dion,” Colt called to the woman as
he charged from the bridge. Dion blushed because Colt actually remembered
her name.
“I swear I’ll destroy that chimera if I get....
no, WHEN I get my hands on him,” Colt growled under his breath as he charged
through the corridors, people turning their heads as he passed since he
was still topless. “I wanted to be Aura’s lover, but she never gave me
the time of day. Of course I could destroy Aura because I wanted first
pick of the beautiful men.”
As colt rounded a corner he came face to face
with Evangelion Unit 09, which was engaged in battle with one of the bio
mechs. Colt took a pipe from the wall, leapt onto Unit 09’s back, and jammed
the pipe into one of the access ports, cutting into the electrical systems
and shutting the violet giant down.
Inside Unit 09 Alex felt a sharp pain in his
back before the mech shut down. Backup power came online a moment later
as Aeris punched up the external video feeds. What they saw was Colt forcing
the pipe deeper into the access port and the Biomechs preparing to attack
again.
“What do we do?” Aeris asked as she tried
weapon systems and defensive systems, all to no avail.
“We cut our losses,” Alex said as he recalled
the Eva to his armor. The mighty mech glowed before it shrunk inwards and
vanished back into Saturn’s armor. Aeris and Alex floated back to the ground
as Colt fell to the floor and the Biomech shut down due to confusion in
programming. Once on the ground Alex hit the mech with a Rah Tilt, destroying
it instantly. As he turned to say something to Aeris she gasped and a rough
male voice said, “You... how did you find us?!”
“Colt, right?” Alex asked, his no-dachi appearing
in hand as he turned around.
“How did you know?” Colt asked, a little stunned
that his enemy would know his name.
“We read up on you and some of your people
before we arrived,” Aeris said before she slammed the end of her staff
into Colt’s groin. Colt released her before he doubled over in pain, his
face turning blue as he dropped to his knees. “Thank you for releasing
me, you big lug.”
“I’ll kill your chimera friend for fooling
around with Aura,” Colt coughed as he struggled to his feet.
“So Zelgadis got it on with an alien woman,”
Alex sighed, “why is he the lucky one to get all the girls?” A moment later
Colt’s fist slammed into his gut, propelling him across the hallway into
a wall, the air forced from his lungs as he collided. His vision blacked
out for a moment as the amulet on his chest glowed, an energy shield forming
around him to protect him from harm. He heard Aeris incant a spell, then
saw a blinding flash of light which threw Colt into and through the opposite
wall. A moment later he felt her arm around his waist as she helped him
to walk towards the direction they had been traveling in before their path
was blocked by the Biomech.
As the two wandered off into the unknown and
the darkness, aided only by a combination of a light spell and a plasmoid,
Colt pulled himself out of the wall that Aeris’ spell had thrown him through,
muttering obscenities as he realized the extend of the bruising caused
by his collision. From a nearby wall he pulled a heavy pipe, which he attached
his belt to and strapped across his body. Once he was thusly equipped he
followed in the general direction that Alex and Aeris had gone in.
In another part of the craft, in the opposite
direction in the same hallway, Tiffa in Fei Yen was meeting little resistance,
since most thought the small pink mech wouldn’t be much of a threat. Any
resistance she did meet wound up being hacked to pieces by Fei Yen’s energy
sword. Eventually she reached the engine room, but not before running into
a pair of the bio mechs, both guarding the entrance.
“Just great,” Tiffa said to herself as Fei
Yen charged the sword to full power, the blade glowing a brilliant blue
- white, before the mech roared forward with the blade above its head.
The mech spiraled in a Psycho - crusher fashion as it slammed into one
of the bio mechs, the sword piercing the energy cell in the center, causing
a chain reaction that resulted in the enemy mech’s disintegration and spontaneous
combustion. With one mech down Tiffa figured she would use the same move
on the second one, with no results what so ever due to Fei Yen colliding
headlong with an AT Field.
“Baka!” Tiffa snarled, a fanged smile crossing
her face, “It’ll take a lot more than some puny force field to stop me!”
As she said that she popped open the front
of her mech, her rail gun in position. She pulled the trigger and a couple
of puffs of smoke were the sole signs of two high speed Uranium slugs.
A split second later the slugs tore through the AT Field and embedded themselves
in the core of the mech. When the mech refused to go down easily Tiffa
kicked her rail gun up to ‘spitfire’ mode and pulled the trigger, a stream
of slugs spit forth at 1/100 second intervals. The slugs tore the AT Field
to ribbons before embedding themselves in the chest of the mech. The second
bio mech underwent spontaneous combustion a moment later, leaving a pile
of charred metal and bio matter in its wake.
Once the flames died down Tiffa wiped the
perspiration from her brow, secured her rail gun, and closed Fei Yen before
rocketing into the engine room. She landed her gear, the engines still
running, and sat back in wait of Alex’s signal.
“These things just don’t give up!” Rei growled
as Tenshi stopped its backward motion with the aid of an anti magnetic
field. By now both Tenshi and Unit 01a were in need of serious repairs
due to their run in with the bio mechs. They had managed to get the best
of one of the mechs with a fast ball special, but the second one refused
to fall.
“When are you going to learn that mechs don’t
always get the best of mechs?” Xellos said over the radio, “Tiffa bested
one with her rail gun and Alex and Aeris managed to smoke one as well using
magic.”
“Baka!” Ruri’s voice interjected, “You’re
from the arena so use your arena attacks!”
“If she insists,” Rei said, leaping from Tenshi,
his body undergoing the transformation into Rei form ZERO. The dragon tiger
charged at the biomech with one clawed hand extended, energy gathering
into it. With a blood curdling roar Rei punched clear through the mech’s
midsection and core, destroying it. Past the biomech was an entrance much
too small for either of the gears to fit through, meaning the group had
to leave Tenshi and Unit 01a behind.
“Well, at least they’ll be waiting for us
when we return,” Sinclair said as he and EEH disembarked from Unit 01a.
he made sure to set the alarm before the trio began their charge down the
corridor with Rei in the lead, EEH in the middle, and Sinclair pulling
up the rear. Rei had reverted back to his normal form and was blocking
all of the lasers that fired their way with his sword. EEH had managed
to get a laser rifle from one of the guards and was using that to take
out any who tried to stop them. Sinclair was using his sword in a manner
similar to Rei as he was blocking attacks and letting EEH take care of
the heavy stuff.
After rampaging through the corridor for what
seemed like forever they reached the bridge and an incredibly surprised
Blayze, who was just barely changing into a new corset, screamed and fought
to cover herself.
“How dare you barge in on a woman while she’s
changing her clothes!” Blayze demanded, covering herself the best she could
with her arm, “Guards, get them!”
“You ain’t no woman, you intergalactic space
slut!” EEH shouted, opening up with a volley of blasts that knocked out
most of the guards in a single sweep.
“Figures Aura and Colt would leave me alone
at a time like this,” Blayze said, putting Colt’s vest on to conceal her
breasts. “Oh well. Hell’s Fury!”
As Blayze shouted that the temperature in
the room jumped up by several hundred degrees, things around the group
being shielded as the attack took effect. The floor began to liquefy as
the heat intensified, eventually reaching white hot levels.
“What do we do?” EEH asked as she and Sinclair
formed a magical barrier, “If she keeps this up we’re all going to fry!”
“Keep your voice down,” Sinclair said, his
head motioning towards Rei, who was in deep concentration for an attack.
EEH released a little, “Oh,” and went back to trying to maintain the barrier.
“Prepare to die you witch!” Rei growled under
his breath, “Crush Beam!”
A beam of energy fired from Rei’s hands, which
struck Blayze and crushed her to the floor. As she screamed in pain and
in anger the flames died down and the internal temperature went back to
relative normal. Blayze looked up in time to see EEH’s foot rushing at
her face. A split second later she sailed through the air, through a control
board, and into a wall.
“The bridge is ours,” Sinclair said, standing
in the command chair previously occupied by Colt.
“Now we just need to wait to hear from the
others,” EEH said, plopping down in a chair. The main screen came on a
moment later, displaying images from outside the ship, the engine room,
the cryogenics room, several bedrooms, a few corridors, and the mech bay.
Across the screen they saw action from all of the other people on this
mission.
“Wow,” Rei said as he took a seat, “they get
some strange channels on this tv.”
“And all of them have to do with current and
local news,” Sinclair said as the monitors switched to an image of Kelly
and Xellos fighting some of the mechs before it changed to Alex and Aeris
running through the corridors, to Aura and Zelgadis making out, to Colt
charging through the ship with the large pipe strapped to his back.
“How long do we have to wait?” EEH asked,
scrunching up her face when she saw Aura and Zel kissing.
“Until we get a signal from Alex,” Rei said,
a little unhappy about that.
Elsewhere in the ship Alex and Aeris were crashing
through anyone and anything that got in their path. Eventually they reached
the cryogenics room, where the tubes still bubbled, bodies coming to the
front for brief instances before floating back into the bubbling liquid.
“Well, we finally made it,” Aeris said, breathing
a sigh of relief.
“Yeah, but how do we free them?” Alex asked,
glancing around the room for a control board or something of the like.
“You don’t,” a woman’s voice said from behind
the pair. They turned around to see Aura, at her side on one knee was Zelgadis.
“Zelgadis?” Alex said in disbelief, “How could
you go to her side?”
“I’ll kill you if my lady says,” Zelgadis
said as he stood and unsheathed his sword, “she has taught me what it is
to love and be loved. She is the first woman I’ve ever been with and I
loved it!”
A sweat drop formed on Alex’s head. “When
Celia hears that she’ll freak,” he said, a fanged smile crossing his face,
“You know how much she wanted you.”
“SILENCE!” Zelgadis said, brandishing his
sword so that the point was in Alex's face, “I shall hear no more.”
Aeris, who was behind Alex, had been chanting
a spell under her breath. “... Let all things be filled by your pure breath,”
she chanted, “Van Rehl!”
She knelt down and touched the ground, icy
tendrils extending from where she touched. These tendrils wrapped around
Aura and sealed her in an icy prison. Zel leapt to attack Aeris, but his
sword found itself embedded in Alex’s stomach.
“Alex?” Aeris said as the body slipped from
the end of the sword, “Alex, why?”
“You are the last of the ancients,” Alex said,
“and I swore I would protect you.”
Zel looked at the blood on his sword, then
at Alex before he started to freak out. He tossed his sword away, the blade
striking a couple of the cryogenic cylinders as it sailed by. the glass
of the cylinders spider webbed before internal pressure caused them to
shatter outward, frozen bodies falling to the floor and sliding away.
“What have I done?”! Zelgadis asked as he
looked on in horror. A moment later Amelia’s body came to rest at his feet,
her skin pale white from the cold, her lips blue, her eyes closed. “A...
Amelia?” he said, kneeling down and taking the body in his arms, “What
have I done?”
“M... Mister Zelgadis?” Amelia said, opening
her eyes a little. She shivered a moment later. “I’m so cold.”
“Amelia!” Zelgadis cried, stripping off his
jacket and wrapping the princess in it, “You’ll be O.K..” He then turned
to Aeris and said, “Can you undo some of what has happened?”
“I can try,” Aeris said, leaving Alex to finish
his Recovery spell. She stepped up to the center of the room, clasped her
hands before her body, bowed her head, and began to utilize her limit break.
“Holy spirits that rule sky and earth,
come before me and deliver these warriors back to us. Great Gospel!”
Waves of golden light washed over the bodies
on the floor, restoring heat and the signs of life to each one of them.
Color changed from pale to healthy, lips went from blue to red or pale
pink. Eyes opened all around as people fought to get their bearings.
“What the hell?" Dan Jensen asked as he rubbed
his head, “I feel like I’ve been drop kicked across half of the galaxy.”
“Join the club,” Steve Huff said as he stretched
the kinks out of his body, “What happened? And why am I so cold?"
“Why are we...” Alison said.
“... so naked?” Alyssa finished as they both
blushed.
“It’s a long story,” Alex coughed as he finished
casting his Recovery spell, “I’m just glad to see all of you guys are O.K..”
“What about these last three tubes?” Jason
asked, indicating the remaining three cryogenic cylinders.
“You guys concentrate on transforming,” Zelgadis
said as he wrenched a pipe from a nearby wall, “I’ll crack these open.”
“I wouldn’t do that,” a gruff male voice said.
Those on the floor turned to the source of the voice to see Colt next to
a control panel. “I’ll crank up the power, turn down the temperature, and
freeze them in solid ice so that any impact or high pitched sound will
shatter them like glass.”
“You little...” Zelgadis growled as he dove
at Colt. Colt swung with his own pipe, catching Zelgadis in the face and
hurling him across the room into a wall where he impacted with a sickening
THUNK.
“Mister Zelgadis!” Amelia shouted as Zel sailed
away. She turned her attention to Colt a moment later. “Hurting my Zelgadis
like that is unjust, and in the name of justice I shall punish you. Rah
Tilt!”
Blue white flames erupted around Colt as the
spell took effect. To Amelia’s surprise he managed to walk through the
flames without a burn or scorch.
“Was that supposed to hurt little girl?” Colt
asked as he began to advance towards Amelia, brandishing the pipe, “You
shouldn’t write checks that your powers can’t cash.”
“Everyone, transform!” Alex shouted as he
tossed his cape to Amelia to make into a skirt.
“Sun Crystal Power...”
“Ice Crystal Power...”
“Thunder Crystal Power...”
“Phobos Moon Power...”
“Deimos Moon Power...”
“Pluto Super Nova Power...”
“Uranus Super Nova Power...”
“Rainbow Crystal Power...”
“Dragon Crystal Power...”
“TRANSFORM!”
Those who were up to it hoisted their hands
to the sky, their power items appearing as they shouted their henshin phrases.
Several flashes of colored light and assorted things like feathers, ice
crystals, thunderbolts, and flames brought forth the twin sailor guardians
and seven of the warriors, all of whom produced their weapons in order
to defend those who were still not ready to fight.
“How nice,” Colt snarled, spinning the pipe
like a stave, “more to destroy.”
As he advanced towards the three remaining
tubes the warriors moved in to attack with their weapons, only to have
Colt smack them away with the pole. As he got closer he increased his speed,
using the pipe like a hockey stick to propel some of the weaker people
out of his way. As he neared the tubes, however, Zelgadis leapt at him
and swung his pipe at Colt. The two pieces of metal collided, sparks flying
as they fought.
Meanwhile Alex and Aeris had retreated to
the side of the room with the control board. Once glance at the complexity
of the controls told them they should contact some tech support.
“Myria here,” Myria said, her picture appearing
in a corner of Alex’s computer screen, “What can I help you with?”
“We need you to decipher these controls,”
Alex said, scanning the control board schematics into his computer and
sending them to Myria. A moment later Myria sighed and said, “These are
way too complex for me to figure out in such a short period of time. Sorry.”
“Thanks anyway,” Aeris said as she handed
Alex her staff. She stood before the control board and began punching buttons,
turning dials, and sliding switches until one tube drained of liquid and
a heat lamp turned on, restoring heat and life to its occupants before
the tube slid down and the naked bodies stumbled forth.
“We’re back in action!” Lina said as she grabbed
a nearby sheet and turned it into a makeshift toga.
“One down and two to go,” Alex said as he
began to repeat the same process as Aeris moved aside. The liquid in the
third tube drained and a heat lamp turned on and restored heat to the half
frozen bodies. The tube slid down and those who could transform did so.
“Mars Crystal Power...”
“Jupiter Crystal Power...”
“Mercury Crystal Power...”
“Venus Crystal Power...”
“Universe Rebirth Power...”
“Orion Nova Power...”
“FireStar Crystal Power...”
“Mars Nova Power...”
“Saturn Planet Power...”
“TRANSFORM!!”
Several flashes of light brought forth five
more sailor soldiers and four more warriors, all of whom struck battle
stances as more guards flowed into the room around the frozen Aura. They
drew their weapons as they clashed with those who had imprisoned them.
“One tube remaining,” Zel said as he ducked
one of Colt’s swings. The pipe slipped from the alien male’s hands and
collided with the final tube, shattering the glass. Cold and naked bodies
joined the spilling liquid and other such objects on the floor.
“Amelia,” Lina shouted, “area wide Recovery
spell.”
“Right Miss Lina,” Amelia said as she began
casting, “her palms glowing white as waves of energy flowed forth and washed
over the bodies, returning life to them. Several people stood up, one being
Sylphiel, who copied one of Amelia’s spells and cast a Dark Mist in the
room, concealing everyone long enough to get dressed or transform. As the
mist cleared away due to some preternatural force, the first thing that
most people saw was a black and violet cape with gold trim blowing in the
wind. This cape spun around to reveal Lina as she cast a spell.
“Huh.... Flaaaaarrrre.... ARROW!”
Three strips of flame which formed before
her hand became a single bolt when she flung them through the air. The
arrow struck one of the guards and tossed her through the air and into
a group of advancing guards, toasting all of them in one glorious blast
of flames.
“What in the universe?!" Colt said as Zel
smashed him through the air and into the now thawed Aura, sending her sprawling
onto the floor and him on top of her.
“No use begging for mercy,” Alex said as he
and Aeris joined the others.
“Yeah,” Ihrie and Fam chimed in, “No mercy!”
“Get off of me you oaf!” Aura snarled as she
drop-kicked Colt across the room. “Arshes! Dion! Talon! Get down here NOW!!”
A moment later the blond woman with the crush
on Colt, the engineer with the curly dark hair and 5 o’clock shadow, and
the gorgeous redheaded computer specialist charged into the room, all equipped
with psycho armor and plasma cannons.
“Give it up,” Naga said as she held her hands
in preparation of casting a spell, “You don’t stand a chance. Freeze...”
As she was about to cast the spell a blast
rocked the craft and smoke poured out of the ventilation system, filling
the room in a matter of seconds. From the center of the smoke a breeze
began, which quickly whipped up to a full force Wind Barrier spell. At
the source stood Zelgadis, now clad in his normal adventuring outfit with
the same black gloves he’d been wearing. Next to him stood Amelia, who
was busy concentrating on widening the spell’s radius. Above them floated
Warriors Sun, Hellfire, Arctic Chill, and Saturn, each of whom was in the
process of casting assorted spells and using various techs.
“Solar Flare!”
“Flare Lance!”
“Icicle Lance!”
“Wind Brid!”
A blinding flash of light and heat was quickly
followed by a string of Flare Arrows, which struck some of the guards,
toasting them instantly. This was quickly followed by a string of Freeze
Arrows that froze another group of guards in their tracks. The last spell
was unseen except for how it moved through the smoke, and this struck the
group of officers and smashed them through a wall with a shockwave.
“You... how?” Arshes asked as he dragged himself
out of the wall.
“Alex,” Tiffa’s voice said in a panicked tone,
“the engines are blown, but there were some complications.”
“What happened?” Rei’s voice asked, “the self
destruct sequence has been activated, but not from the command center.”
“They’re starting to evacuate the craft,”
Aximili said, “what happened?”
“Never mind that,” Xellos said, “according
to this readout there are less than ten minutes to get out before this
place goes critical!”
The minute the officers heard this they began
to bolt for the door, only to be crushed into the floor by Adderson and
Roxy.
“You’re not going anywhere for a while,” Bethany
said, grinning as she ran past the five bridge officers.
“This is what you get when you mess with us,”
Kaworu said as he split off from the group to head for the mech bay.
“Where are you going?” Andrew asked as he,
Adderson, Derek, Alex, and Aeris caught up to him.
“Where Units 11 and 10 are being held,” Kaworu
said over his shoulder as he ran.
“Are Drew and Ayanami still inside Unit 10?”
Alex asked.
“The last I knew, yes,” Kaworu replied as
they neared the end of the hall that opened into blinding light. The group
burst forth into the mech bay to meet with a hail of laser fire.
“We don’t have time for this,” Aeris said
as she blocked some of the shots with her staff.
“At least the Evas have thawed out,” Kaworu
said as he phased out. A moment later he reappeared inside of Unit 11,
synching up and powering up. Screen after screen of tactical data appeared,
telling him that the giant was ready to go, “Hey Drew, you still alive?”
“Yeah,” Drew replied weakly, “I could go for
a large dish of noodles and vegetables and pork and beef and a large pot
of tea right now.”
“Ditto,” Rei Ayanami added, even weaker than
Drew, “are we ready to go?”
“Yup,” Adderson said as he hurled engineers
around with waves of high gravity, “Alex, what’s the status of your backup?”
“Tiffa is hauling haunch to the meeting point,
as are Rei and Sinclair. Xellos and Kelly are getting the others to a shuttle
craft or two,” Alex said as he poured over all of the information he was
receiving on his visor and his computer. “Escaflowne and SDF-1 are providing
cover fire for the others.”
“Then we should power up our Evangelion armor,”
Andrew said as his armor glowed. Derek’s, Adderson’s, and Alex’s followed
in suit. The glows expanded and solidified into Eva Units 07, 08, 09, and
12, each one in some sort of battle stance. The multi colored giants powered
up, their eyes glowing as they came online. In each entry plug screen after
screen of tactical data came up, displaying stats and such for each mech.
“Guys, we have eight minutes until this place
goes nova,” Celia said over the radio, “the shuttle crafts are free of
the ship and are being protected by Unit 01a, Tenshi, Fei Yen, Escaflowne,
and the SDF-1.”
“That just leaves our two Evas here as well
as ourselves,” Andrew said as Unit 12 discharged its gun into the walls,
breaking Units 11 and 10 free of those bonds. A moment later it used its
progressive spear to slice the floor open, releasing the legs of the mechs.
The six Evangelion units turned towards the exit, only to encounter several
Bio mechs with a very pissed off Colt on the shoulder of the lead mech.
“Oooh, not him again!” Aeris fumed, pulling
up all of Unit 09’s weapon stats and protocols, “He’s really starting to
get on my nerves!”
“Well, with those bio mechs we can’t screw
around,” Adderson said as he punched up all of the weapon protocols for
Unit 07. A moment later the right thigh of the mech opened and an axe extended,
which spread its blades to become a great skull crushing blade. Unit 07
lunged forward and hurled the axe at one of the mechs, missing it on the
initial pass, but catching a mech on the return pass and slashing it in
half. Unit 07 caught the axe in midair and slashed downward, cleaving a
second mech in half before lunging out the door, elbowing past and through
the battalion.
“If he goes, we all go,” Alex said as Unit
09 took a sword hilt from its weapon pod. the guard unfolded and a blue
energy blade formed, much in the way of Gourry’s sword of light. Unit 09
leapt forth, missile silos unfolding from its shoulders and several rounds
of rockets firing forth, blowing up two of the mechs before it used its
sword to destroy a third. In the midst of the group Unit 09 fired off another
salvo of rockets, blowing a couple more mechs to pieces before it followed
Unit 07 out of the ship.
“T-minus six minutes until the big boom,”
Derek said as Unit 08 impaled a pair of biomechs with its progressive blades
and smashed them together before tossing the bodies away. In the blink
of an eye Unit 08 had smashed its way through the battalion, leaving destruction
in its wake as Derek followed Alex and Adderson.
“And away we go,” Andrew and Kaworu said as
Unit 11 produced a progressive bow and Unit 12 brandished its progressive
spear. Unit 11 charged an arrow with energy and fired it at one of the
mechs. The arrow impacted and the mech exploded, taking two more out with
it. Unit 12 charged forward and impaled two mechs with the spear before
sending an energy pulse through, detonating them before it followed the
others out, leaving Unit 10 to take care of Colt’s mech.
“So it comes down to this,” Drew said, “four
minutes, one biomech, and a pain in the ass alien. I love these odds.”
“Let’s just get this over with,” Rei said
as she activated all of the weapon systems. the shoulders, lower arms,
hips, and chest opened to reveal a metric butt load of missile launchers.
“Oh crap,” Colt said as he leapt from the
shoulder of the mech moments before a big ass barrage of rockets vaporized
it and part of the craft. Unit 10 then charged after the other mechs in
leaving the craft.
Under a pile of flaming wreckage a body stirred,
opening a hatch to an escape pod. the person said a little prayer and punched
the button which hurled the pod away from the ship and on a course to meet
with others.
Outside of the craft and a safe distance away
many of the RPGVA mechs were blowing away any and all enemy mechs who threatened
the shuttle crafts that held the Slayers, warriors, the sailor soldiers,
and Mr. and Mrs. West.
“Honey,” Mrs. West said to her husband, “do
you think that Alex is O.K.?”
“I’m sure he is,” Mr. West said as he gazed
out the window at the craft they had just left, “he has his mech and his
friends to help him.”
“But couldn’t we do something to help?"
Mr. West looked at his wife, then looked outside
at all of the explosions going on around them, and nodded. “it may reveal
our true identities, but so be it, my queen.”
The pair looked at one another, their physical ages reversing
until they were both young and healthy 20 year olds, each dressed in a
manner of regality.
“Come Jenna,” Mr. West said, turning to an
airlock, “our powers should keep us safe in this vacuum.”
“Yes William, we must help our son,” Mrs.
West said as she took her husband’s hand. they phased out, only to reappear
atop the shuttle in a protection dome. Mr. West unsheathed an ornately
decorated sword, the blade glowing with holy light as his wife produced
a staff with a violet jewel set in the head. The jewel glowed a moment
later, a beam coming from it and cutting across space, destroying all enemy
mechs it touched. A similar beam came from the sword, meeting the one from
the jewel in the middle. The two beams joined, forming a sort of homing
beacon for the Eva units. As the craft behind the shuttle crafts went nova,
exploding in a gorgeous bloom of fire, something came nearer to the craft.
Highlighted by the flash were the six Evangelion units, none too worse
for wear. A moment later they caught up with the shuttle crafts and kicked
speed down to a leisurely pace.
“Who are those people atop the shuttle?" Andrew
asked, indicating the pair within the dome.
“I think they’re your parents Alex,” Kaworu
said. A shocked gasp came from Unit 11 as it shrank down and reformed as
Alex and Aeris, both of whom were inside of an energy bubble. They descended
and joined the pair inside of the dome.
“Mom? Dad?” Alex said, looking the couple
over, “Is that you?”
“Yes honey, it’s us,” Mrs. West said as she
approached her son, “I know we don’t look as you remember us, but it was
necessary to do this to help you.”
“Oh, mom,” Alex said, bursting into tears
as he hugged his mother, “I thought I’d lost you!”
“Hey, we’re almost to the Bishounen,” Rei
said, breaking the tranquillity of the moment, “We’ll have a short stop
over there and then continue on our journey home.”
“You hear that guys,” Mr. West said as he
embraced his wife and son, “We’re going home.”
The time on the Bishounen was spent in repair
to the gears and in catching up on all the details of the adventure. A
very embarrassed Zelgadis stuttered out everything that had happened to
him after Aura had released him from cryo-stasis. As he spoke, though,
Nameki entered, flaunting her cleavage. Zel blushed when he noticed her
presence, but continued slowly the recount of his adventure.
“... And then Aura bid me to dress after our
flesh touched for the first time, and she chose to have me clad in black
leather,” he said, not noticing how nobody was interested in his sex life.
“I was fortunate to download this picture
before the ship exploded,” Fam said, waving a photograph about. Nameki
picked the picture out of Fam’s hand, looked at it, and started to drool.
“What a honey!” she said, looking at Zel with
hearts in her eyes. Everyone around the table sighed in unison.
“Here we go again,” Kelly said, munching on
some popcorn from a nearby bowl.
“We’re set to...” Aximili began to say, his
grease marked head poking in the door. He didn’t get to finish his sentence
due to the wave of people who charged out of the room to escape the Bishounen
crazed Nameki.
In the shuttle bay there was a mad rush for
people to board the craft, but amid the chaotic manner they managed to
safely board and close the crafts. The gears took off first, scouting the
area for any signs of alien activity, and when none was detected the shuttle
craft took off, their destination being Earth.
“Don’t forget to visit,” Ruri said as they
left, “and be sure to bring some of your cute friends to please Megumi
and Nameki.” A loud sigh issued from all of the people in the group.
“Homeward?” Celia asked from the pilot’s seat
of the craft.
“To the third rock from the sun, and onward
until morning,” Xellos said as the gears and the shuttle crafts turned
towards the Earth before kicking the speed up a notch for their return
trip home.
End.
